I just had the same thing. A Physician's Assistant took over my doctor's medical practice. Not only is she totally incompetent, but she made up a whole bunch of shit to put in my electronic medical records. She was asking me questions and putting down complete lies. Her excuse was that these ailments are common in people my age. According to her, I have acid reflux (but I don't have heartburn), I have emphysema,( without a cough), and diabetes(with no symptoms). Her prescription to treat me for all these ailments is two pinches of Tumeric in my food a day.

Ya HOO. I'm not alone. Other people are stuck with the same kind of piss poor medical care.

I'm confused? You said you are on Medicare. So what does that have to do with Obamacare?

Medicare has been making cuts to their reimbursements for decades. My wife is a nurse working for a doctor and she complains about it constantly. But it has nothing to do with Obamacare.

The problem is not really Obamacare, it's a shortage of doctors. And for good reason. 12 years of school only to watch your pay get cut constantly by a government who points at them as the cause for all our health care cost.

But the reality is that being a doctor has always been a high paying job and should be. It is one of the most difficult and expensive fields to get into and carries more stress than just about any position out there.

They are all too often targeted because it's easier to cut reimbursements to them than to deal with the larger, more difficult health care issues.

I have had two MS flare ups this year and after losing my neurologist I am having complications and finally got a doctor that will take Medicare but I cannot see her until the middle of June so what I do in the mean time? I will have to go to ER and be seen there by their neurologist who will probable order an MR to see if my complication due to new lesions appearing. And charge Medicare $10,000.
