Would you like to live in the world that God has promised ?

Heaven will be almost empty anyway, probably only a few thousand will deserve to be there.
Property values will be cheap.

What will there be to do for those who trade stocks? Doctors? Bankers? etc....

Best thing is there will be ZERO politicians in heaven...

deserve to go there? What are you talking about? No one deserves to go there. If any of us deserved to go there that the Atonement of Jesus Christ would be absolutely pointless.

Christ didn't come to Redeem us because we deserved to go to heaven. He came because we didn't.

And he set up rules we have to live by to get to go there.

Hell no! Why would anyone who isn't brainwashed want to be "so alone" it's "not good" for eternity with God????? :cuckoo:

Which God would that be? The Bible has Jesus, a God and then the Hebrew God.
Actually both Gods are involved. Adam was alone while he was one with the Hebrew God, so a wife was created for him, but Jesus said that you will have no mate in heaven so you will be alone again but for eternity this time.

Chronologically, Adam was not separated from God by sin until AFTER Eve was created. So before Eve was created, Adam was in a heavenly state of physical perfection, without sin, in paradise, and one with God.

So how could Adam have been so "alone" it was "not good" BEFORE he was separated from God by sin??????
God saw Adam was lacking a mate and created Eve, but how could Adam have been lacking anything while he was without sin and one with God??????

Gen 2: 18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

The bible says that in heaven we will have no mate, so heaven will be the eternal loneliness of being one with God.

Matthew 22: 30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

Friends will keep you sane, Love could fill your heart, A lover can warm your bed, But lonely is the soul without a mate.
- David Pratt

Heaven will be no heaven to me if I do not meet my wife there.

You've missed the point of the Gospel. It's not what you do, but who you become through the Atonement that makes you eligible for a place in Heaven.

Maybe it's you sir.

2Co 4:4 in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving ones, so that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ (who is the image of God) should not dawn on them.

Ah, there's the rub. It could just as easily be either one of us, or both, or neither. No way to resolve this dilemma, from what I can see.

There is an easy way to resolve the dilemma. We go talk to the Source.

So you not only talk to God, but also get a spoken answer? :eusa_eh:

Either way, you still need some means to prove that you're talking to the "right" Source.

Interestingly, the area that was once Caanan used to be much more humid, and home to several kinds of hallucinogenic mushrooms. No joke.

You missed the point of being an American citizen. We're free to ignore the gospel. We're not a Christian nation, yet.

And what on earth does being a US citizen have to do with God and Heaven?

God has looked after the United States insomuch as the people have kept His commandments. Now that we as a people dont, we will be swept from the land when we have reached the fulness of wrath unless we repent.

I thought we were already living in the world that God gave us.

What? Are telling us God's been holding out on mankind for all this time?

Are you telling us he has a better world, but he's stuck us on with this one?

God has given us what we are capable of.

You honestly don't think the world would be different if we were all honest? if we were all full of charity toward our fellow man? If hate and violence ceased? If parents took care of their children? If no one broke laws.

The world would be much different. But God allows us to live in a world created by our own choices.
