Mmmm. Maybe I understand Spanish just fine. Why would you assume I didn't speak or understand Spanish?

I had a friend from Pakistan who spoke Arabic as a first language. She was in a shoe store where two guys were saying the nastiest most insulting things about women. She finally unloaded on them in Arabic. These assumptions don't go over very well.
