CDZ Woman charged with boyfriend's suicide

It is wrong to charge someone with a crime for their words over a text message. It is utterly ridiculous and means that you want to give the government control over your words.

She was definitely not an accessory as she was nowhere near the scene.
Read post 110. An accessory does not have to be at the scene.

She isn't being charged as an "accessory." She is being charged with involuntary MANSLAUGHTER.
True. Maybe they should charge her with being an accessory instead of manslaughter. Regardless of what they call it, their case will be to show that she was an accessory in convincing her boyfriend to commit suicide.

He had already planned it and he was suicidal before he even met this girl.
Yes. He also chickened out, and she told him to get back into the truck and do it (not her exact words).

And did she force him to do anything against his will? No she did not. Sorry but the decision was his and he made his decision.

Was he a snowflake?

Only snowflakes can be influenced so easily

He was not an alpha man.....too bad:dunno:

we love alpha men

If you go around telling people you are suicidal and they don't show you compassion and you commit suicide, it is NOT the fault of the people you told. Showing compassion is NOT a law and should not be a law.

Accessories do not force people to commit crimes. They give council to help or encourage a person to commit a crime. So if you stick to that opinion, then you logically believe that its wrong to prosecute people for being accessories to crimes.

No accessories are people who HELP commit the crime, not people who send text messages.

Manson didn't kill anyone and look where he is.

Just something to muse on.

Meanwhile...she didn't make him do anything. He chose to get back in. He chose to end his life. And it IS his life to choose what to do with.

Only idiots commit suicide because the girlfriend told him so...:cuckoo:

Alpha men would never do that

they are strong they know better

it's one thing to not show compassion. it's another thing to actually encourage a suicidal person, someone you know is suicidal, to do the deed.

She was a 17-year-old girl at the time. She was not a licensed psychiatrist and probably didn't really know how to deal with such a thing, and she is not responsible for another person deciding to take his own life.

snowflakes will be snowflakes

that's how it is sadly

Well, apparently the boy suffered from mental illness (depression to be exact), but it is still not up to anyone else to "save" him from himself. Perhaps his parents should have been working with him more?

My God

it's his problem if he suffered from a mental disease

his parents should have put in in a mental asylum

so its his parents fault.

whatever

Like I said earlier, if you tell someone to kill themselves and they do, are you at fault? No, you are not. No, people should not be charged as an accessory to a crime for typing words on a screen, unless they have broken some law.

Ya know, for being so pretty, your soul sure is ugly from lack of empathy.
