So the lady puts up $450 of stuff and WIC will cover just $150
She then wants an item by item reduction until it gets down to 150 BUT wants to argue about the ones she really wants.
The guy in front of me starts grumbling and she rebukes him that “this is hard for me”. She continues to show the checker this list she had but checker is steadfast that they handle WIC all the time. She continues to argue and hand back items and then take some of those back and look at her list and argue. So I say “ Can you maybe come back when you know how your WIC card works” she gets loud and asks if me and the other guy are “supremers” I respond that I just want to pay for my own groceries while we all are paying for hers also. She’s really pissed now. Managers come over and they move her to a closed register and she’s still arguing and stating how unfair this is to her
