I haven't seen where the republicans were cutting those programs. But there does need to be cuts, because we are in huge debt and the economy will not get better until cuts are made. Its what they make the cuts on....the things that are not a necessity are what have to be cut, but they seem to cut things that shouldn't be cut and other things could be cut.

The system has worked quite well, and in these inflationary times, seems to continue to do so.
