Pointing out racism or perceived racism, as something that's racist and offensive in and of itself?

Especially being that, often times, these same folks also tend to have very tepid responses to actual racist acts.

What is racist in your eyes?

When is it OK to talk about racism?

When is OK to speak out and/or be outraged about racism?

Does someone have to have a sign on their back and a KKK uniform on for you to begin to say or see that is wrong?

I'd really like to know here, because this stuff is getting ridiculous now.

good question... but it could easily be turned back and thrown in the faces of your lefty friends...

The problem is people like Truth Matter who call everyone racist 24/7, they wash down the word and when real racism occurs people don't believe it, thats the case on this board anyways.:doubt:

Because Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have ruined the race card. They put it in the spoke of their bicycle tire and wore it out. Therefore, when they're the first on the scene of a racist event, it instantly gets watered down and people are skeptical as to whether there was racism or not.

Unfortunately, for everyone, not just you and your argument, they're almost always the first on the scene.

Seriously Marc??
This whole Trayvon thing has shown me who you really are.
A racist.
Why? Because you made about a hundred threads on it but I am more than willing to bet it would never occur to you to make a thread about blacks killing blacks, you wouldn't dream about getting all fired up about a black killing a white.
And this makes you a racist.

If one group of the population makes up 12% ?

And that one group ( happens to be the majority in all 10 of the highest crime and most dangerous cities in america ? ) (( all 10 ))

and that one 12% group fills 50% of the entire prison system in the country ?

And that one 12% group anually makes up 49% of (( every murder )) nationally ?

And that one 12% group ( is the only group ) that has a 70% illegitimacy rate ?

To realize thers as facts it does not take racist !

It takes a realist ?

To ignore the facts takes sheer ignorance

why did obamas own grandmother fear young black males !

Because she had common sense !

Freud said "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar."

But some folks see everything as racist.

Perhaps they don't have a valid excuse for their own behavior and use that race card as a get out of jail free card of sorts.

Perhaps they are too racist themselves to see real racism when it occurs.

Perhaps they think that blaming racism is a valid default position.

Anyway it happens, it makes genuine racism disappear in a cloud of suspicion and doubt.

Every. single. last. one of those organizations were created as a result of America's racist past. They began during the era of segregation.

Although segregation is no longer the case in this country, the ramifications of it still are alive and well.

Do you disagree with that?

When is it OK to talk about racism?

Not right after a heavy meal, you should wait at least 1/2 hour

When is OK to speak out and/or be outraged about racism?

Whenever appropriate.

I believe blacks are the most racist group ! The rest of the population has bent over backwards affirmative action , lowering test scores , social programs, welfare , housing , food stamps , health care . Other groups come to america ? Vietnamese after the vietnam war thousands ( no money not speaking the language ) 40-50 years later ? Where are they ? Business owners intigrated into society ( they learned the language ) did not create their own ? ( ebonics ) ?

They have a family unit ! And a strong work ethic ! Some thing that let them over come discrimination and adversity !
Some thing that is collective lacking in blacks

Crusader, I thought you'd have taken the thread seriously.

I guess I was wrong.

*sigh*

The fact that I don't make threads about any particular race killing a race is because I am not racist.
And as I have said 1000 times here and abroad - perceived racism is doing more harm to the black race today than real racism did 50 years ago.
White on Black real racism has all but disappeared in this nation, but it has been more than replaced with perceived racism.
It is the scapegoat used on a regular basis for blacks to excuse their behavior.
