Maybe I should just give up on the Libertarian party and declare that I hate Obama also.. So I must be racist AND a Republican...

I despise anyone who has pushed a class warfare agenda, told the free marketeers that they owe HIM credit for their successes, STOLE from the Soc Sec system and Medicare system and got away with it, and IS HONESTLY a committed anti-market socialist..

He's 1/2 black.. I've noticed.. But that just makes him LESS objectionable to me --- NOT MORE...

When OBAMA invented the Payroll Tax Holiday so that he could look like Robin Hood to the working class (the ones who normally don't benefit from income tax cuts because they PAY NO INCOME TAX) --- he PAID for that tax break with SOC SEC DOLLARS slated to go out on this years checks to reciepients...

That's STEALING from Soc Sec. And by doing so --- he helped the SS system go into deficit 6 years earlier than the best predictions. Essentially -- cynically shoved it over the cliff.

How much of that are you denying? Then we can move on to the other reasons I gave..

We all know that hate is a term best described as burning crosses, lynching and racial remarks including actions used by the Democratic Party freely as breathing air. While I have very little doubt that on average the rank and file GOP has more White racists than the Dems., (just look at the posts on this board!) I do NOT think that the GOP hatred aimed at Obama is all that different than the hatred aimed at Clinton.


What I do find alarming is how obviously many of the rank and file GOPers hate women.

the SS tax break is not coming from social security tax funds, but from general funds, just as all the other tax breaks out there....it was part of a stimulus and is being funded by general revenues....sooooo, nothing was stolen from social security recipients and no one was not paid in SS monies due to it....I have no idea where you got your info, but it is wrong dear....

Not sure what Matthews said.

I voted for the middle option above but I will say that if you're a birther; you're a racist. There is no other reason. Many, if not most, birthers are republicans.

That having been said....

I read over and over that the reason many here are voting for Romney is because "He's not Obama." What does that tell you? Meister can't cite how Romney's stated plans are going to do anything other than add to the debt....The Governor's social programs are almost as liberal in some ways as Obama (see Romney care, the ever-changing abortion stance)....he won't raise taxes on the middle class he says so there goes the "fair share" mantra of the right wing.

If you're voting for the Governor because of his statement to increase defense spending when we spend far more than any other country on earth and nearly 1/2 of every defense dollar spent on the plantet, it's clear you haven't considered how spending more is going to make us any more safer.

There doesn't seem to be an ironclad reason to vote for Romney except for the often stated "He's not Obama." I suppose one can do one's own math on what makes Romney different.

Yeah and they started on Bill Clinton from day one and after being warned that Osama Bin Laden was trying to use airplanes as weapons to attack us they waiting nine months till after 9/11 to do anything. 'Course the Bin Ladens are big oil folks and the Bush's are too. They didn't like Saddam Hussein after he tried to assassinate Bush41 in 1993 and got over 4000 of America's young ones killed and about 35,000 seriously wounded in that little unnecessary war.
