I would liken Islam to a pit bull. On average, most pit bulls are a good dog as owners swear by them. However, when you hear of a dog attack and someone dying from it, 9 times out of 10 it is a pit bull. Why? Because they have been bred to kill.

Islam and mental illness is a deadly combination as every society has the mentally ill, but not all have Islam in their culture to exploit the mentally ill as they motivate them towards violence.
