Who is your favorite actor of all time?

My favorite actor of all time is Robert Redford. From "Tell them Willie boy is here!", to Butch and Sundance, to The Sting, to The Last Castle, his movies just rock!

Katherine Hepburn was up there. Same with Peter O'Toole. They were amazing together in "The Lion in Winter".

He has been just amazing to watch in his role playing president of the United States.

Cagney was one of my favorites. Anything he or Kirk Douglas ever did especially early in their careers in B&W was excellent. Cagney was the quintessential gangster. An excellent Cagney film was ANGELS WITH DIRTY FACES.

DeNiro has done more bad movies than good. Especially in the last 20 years.
I doubt there is another actor in his caliber of abilities, that has chosen so many bad movies to star in.
I can't list him for the simple fact he has spent years wasting his talents

Great call! Hackman was amazing in Crimson Tide and Unforgiven.

Which also brings me to Denzel Washington. Very versatile and talented. He was scary as hell in Training Day.
