Who has more control of our thinking; God or Satan?

When god cast Satan to earth the first thing he did was start the first organized religion.

Atheism.
But you guys claim humans have always believed in god.

We claim that all humans believe in God even atheists. Deep down they have a gnawing feeling that God exists. However, their rationalization does not allow them to believe. They claim God is faith-based and it is. That said, they do not believe in God nor gods, but that is faith-based, too.

Yes, we understand why people believe in god. I’m not so arrogant to think there couldn’t possibly be a creator.

Put it like this. If Islam was the only religion story would you believe it? Sadly the real answer is probably yes but I’m hoping you would say no, you would not believe that story. Well that’s just how I feel about every religion.

And without religions what does it matter if I believe?
No. You only think you know why people believe in God. And religion isn’t God. Most religions are man seeking God. They don’t make any other claim.

The different religions poses a challenge for the faithful Christian, i.e. how do we know which one is the real word of God?

The way for others to destroy Christianity is demonstrate the Resurrection did not happen. This has not been done since ancient times. With Judaism and Islam, they claim that Jesus is not God. We cannot have the condition that Jesus is God and Jesus is not God (A is B and A is not B).. That is a fallacious statement by definition. Thus, Christianity is the correct one.

That made no sense. So if you were trying to be convincing, you failed.

How can we prove the resurrection didn’t happen?

How do you prove god didn’t talk to Joseph smith?

Just apply your own logic to Islam. You can’t prove god didn’t start the Muslim religion either. Therefore Islam is the correct one.

Last thing. If your logic is good how come jews aren’t buying it? Or everyone else who isn’t a Christian? If your logic was good how come you aren’t converting jews, muslims, Buddhists and Hindus? I’ll tell you why. Your comments made no sense.

Men started organized religion. Different cultures have different perceptions of God. Why are atheists like yourself so hung up on everyone believing the same thing? Diversity is good.

Actually they don’t. Christians don’t have to disagree with everything other religions believe. Atheists do. Atheists have to disagree with all religions. Except of course the religions of atheism and socialism.

how is it possible to destroy what never existed, christianity the same as the other desert religions are nothing more than hoaxes perpetrated by insecure people that use persecution and victimization as their primary tools - for them to believe they are somehow relevant, bond.

the christian concept was invented in the 4th century having nothing to do with the events of the 1st century that was for humanity to break its bondage from sin to become triumphant over evil.

christianity is the opposite, uncontrollable sinners with their selfmade remedy of a messiah redeemer that will forgive them after their sinning. .:cuckoo:

If jews don’t believe the jesus story, if Muslims don’t believe it. If Hindu and Buddhist don’t buy the story it makes us atheists feel better when you tell us the jesus story is as obvious as the nose on our faces.

Clearly it’s not. The truth is the true no matter what side the world you live on. A fact in Australia and China is a fact here right?

Atheists believe all religions are wrong. There is literally no part of anything you can accept.

Christians don’t have that problem. You do know what a revealed religion is, right?

Not the point. The point is your religion isn’t obvious to people in other parts of the world so your religion isn’t a universal truth or obvious.

No, what’s a revealed religion? They’ve all heard about jesus. Everyone has. The fact not everyone buys it should tell you something.

So just because different people have different perceptions of God it in no way invalidates God’s existence. But it does give you a false sense of security.

Clearly, your reasoning is the argumentum ad populum fallacy. It's prophecized in the Bible that the majority will not get into heaven. We had the perfect humans Adam and Eve fall into sin by disobeying God. Now, God wants you to obey his simple rule -- John 3:16. That said, for atheists, they have to believe in God first which they refuse to do. They put their faith in "faith-based" science, fallacies and whatever.

Most religions are man seeking God. They don’t make any other claim.

Besides atheism, the atheists can believe in Buddhism. There is no God, spirit nor after life per se, but reincarnation and polytheistic gods that aren't considered like traditional gods. They do not pray to gods or make offerings. They believe in karma, reincarnation and a temporal world where people go after they die and before they are reincarnated. They end up putting Buddha, a man, on a pedestal.

Ironically the Buddha was no atheist.

My point is your perception of god is no evidence so don’t fault us when the evidence you present us isn’t universally accepted and don’t worry we reject their perceptions too.

Nothing invalidates god existence. It’s your religion that’s in question. Stop making it about god. God has never revealed himself, yet

So you’re one of those people who takes the Bible stories literally?

It’s hard to keep you all straight.

You are a very small minority.

And I wish you’d tell the allegorical Christians they aren’t going to heaven if they don’t take these allegories literally

I never claimed my perception of God was evidence. I am only claiming that you arguing that there can be no God because not all people believe the same thing about God, is a stupid argument.
