Classical Guitar - Paco De Lucia
One of the best. Thanks for the post, Borillar. I USED to have a CD that featured him, Al Di Meola, and one other guitarist, whose name escapes me. It's a live recording and it's fantastic. Unfortunately I believe I sold it with about 300 other of my CD's when I was in financial trouble in the early 1990's. I'd like to purchase this CD again.
Birds of Fire is one of my faves, too.I checked, the third guitarist on the recording is the great John McLaughlin.
Robert Fripp,
Ricky was the first solo act that I saw in concert when I was around five years old. His Live In London album was my first album, I still have it, and I still love it.Ricky Scaggs is not only a fine mandolin, fiddle, and guitar player, he's one of the best Bluegrass harmony singers too. Especially on the gospel songs. The following are my favorite.
Brad Paisley
Vince Gill
Steve Wariner
Ricky Skaggs
Jimmy Olander of the Diamond Rio act
God bless you and them always!!!
Holly
Terry Kath
Duane
The slide pioneer.Terry Kath
Duane
Another name you don't hear very often. That band was never the same...

He was the best Guitar player on the planet, even Jimi Hendrix admitted as much.
