White House doctor: President Trump is in 'excellent health'

According to President Trump's tweet, he was determined to have the mind and body of 35 year old man with IQ over 189. Even better than William Shatner physical prior to filming the reality show "Better Late than Never" and 100 times better than Obama, who failed all his physicals while president (but covered it up, and then lied, then faked the Dr report)

As a retired health insurance underwriter, I can guarantee that Trump would be uninsurable prior to ACA, due to obesity and age, alone.

Most very wealthy people don't have health insurance, they don't need it.

Right! The 2% don't need no stinkin' health insurance! But, the other 98%, who are leeches, just want to extend their lives at the expense of the wealthy. Soggy, I do believe that you have stated my case succently!

If you're super wealthy, like a billionaire, yes you don't need health insurance. But even the wealthy, as in multi millionaires, do need health insurance, when emergency care is about 30,000+ per night, and a regular hospital bed at a decent hospital is about 20,000+ per night. And that doesn't include "procedures" such as MRI which is about 10,000 + 5000 and surgeries and treatments which can range in the hundreds of thousands.

That's why even billionaires have health insurance, which of course is a very expensive type which covers everything and anything and has no deductible. It doesn't make sense otherwise. It isn't a secret that our medical system is broken and inefficient which overcharges for everything, and insurance companies are just as crooked and corrupt as the govt., they are no angels. But possibly, if there is an open market where insurance companies have to compete (across state lines and with no pre existing conditions) then rates might start coming down, and medical facilities will start cleaning up their acts and start charging actual costs (and getting paid close to it) and not have to pad the bills.

The problem is that even though the hospital bill shows 20,000 per night for example, insurance companies will pay a only portion of that, and that goes with all medical treatments. So the system is now set up to overcharge in the bill, in order to get the insurance companies to pay more, assuming that everybody has health insurance. In short it's a corrupt fucking mess, with no end in sight.

Although the figures you use are grossly exaggerated, your argument is true. Unfortunately, like everyone else on the Right, you do not follow the issue to the conclusion. The reason that medical, especially hospital, costs are sky high is that they are charging those with insurance for the usage of those who are uninsured, which was exactly what ACA was trying to eliminate. Now that Trump is killing ACA, you with insurance can expect to pay even more for facilities to make up for those that do not. This, in spite of the fact that the Right seems to think that killing ACA will save them money because those with no coverage get their care for free!

Nah, the real reason the hospitals charge those ridiculous rates is the insurance companies pay a small portion of it. So they keep increasing the rates to keep getting that portion which is getting less and less. The whole thing is a scam from top to bottom. And of course we are forgetting about the cost for defending against lawsuits which is why most doctors and private smaller clinics go out of business. That is why years ago, many private clinics or specialty physicians offices declared, that they just won't take insurance from their clients.

And thanks to Obamacare, the quality of medical care has gone down dramatically. Which insane person would give up the best years of their life going to college 4 years, medical school 4 to 6 years, then residency (which is basically slave labor) another 4 to 6 years depending on specialty, to then become a doctor or surgeon and work for a hospital for the rest of their lives for ridiculous salaries, with very low chance of promotions? A smart driven young person, which is what is necessary to be a doctor can make much more in the fincacial industry, working in tech startups, real estate, or entrepreneurial environment and be signicantly wealthier with much less effort.

Socialized medicine or ANYTHING never works. Obama took a less than perfect system and totally fucked it up. I don't know ANYBODY who is happy with Obamacare, including doctors who are Democrats.

Glad to see that you have figured it all out. In my case, having worked in senior management in both hospitals and health insurance companies for 50 years, I did not know that we were "scamming". if I had known, I probably would have done a better job of it, having worked for 10 insurer's and 2 hospitals that failed, and no longer exist.

I have a lot of doctors and surgeons in my immediate and extended family.

Get back to me when they clear his obviously compromised mental health

Too bad they did not do a mental evaluation as part of his physical, which is what everyone is calling for...

Wouldn't expect you to know this if you're watching CNN, MSNBC or reading leftist fish wrappers -- but the Physical DID include a cognitive assessment.

Trump's Doctor Dismisses Questions About Mental Stability, Stresses 'Excellent' Health | HuffPost

As HuffPost’s S.V. Date notes, “Wolff’s book, Fire and Fury, portrays a delusional, ignorant and impulsive chief executive who may also be suffering from a loss of his cognitive skills ― a description that has brought into public discourse what had previously been off-limits.”

Some hoped Trump’s Friday’s medical evaluation would include a cognitive or psychiatric assessment of the 71-year-old president. The government recommends Medicare recipients over age 65 undergo a cognitive assessment as part of their annual physicals.

Jackson stressed that Trump’s examination at Walter Reed Military Medical Center contained a cognitive assessment that the president passed with flying colors.

He made sure to point out that the president passed a “longer, more difficult” version, and that administering it was “not driven by clinical concerns.”

“There’s no indication that he has any cognitive issues,” Jackson said, adding that Trump “is very articulate when he speaks to me.”

Later, he added that it was “impressive” that Trump “has a lot of energy and a lot of stamina,” and is “very sharp.”

My condolences for all that pseudo-scientific mumbo jumbo that you were getting fed. Don't hurt yourselves eating that crow now.. On to the NEXT poo flinging with you both..

There goes another Leftwing conspiracy fake news theory down the toilet....

This is why anything leftwing media outlets like CNN or MSNBC claim CANNOT be trusted to an ounce of truth any longer:

Meet President Trump's new doctor Admiral Ronny Jackson

He has served in Virginia, Connecticut and Florida and was also assigned to work with an explosive disposal unit in Italy, as well as a platoon in Iraq. Jackson currently lives in Silver Spring, Maryland, with his wife and three children, according to a biography page posted by Harvard University which ran a fellowship in disaster medicine with which he was involved.

When he was in Iraq in 2006, while serving as the physician in charge of resuscitative medicine for a deployed platoon, Jackson was chosen as the White House physician.

President Barack Obama walks with his physician Ronny Jackson, right, towards a waiting Marine One as he leaves Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., after visiting wounded service members,, Nov. 29, 2016.more +

His tenure started during the administration of then-President George W. Bush, who he examined. He also gave physicals to President Barack Obama and will now examine President Donald Trump.

Jackson's last examination of Obama came in February 2016, when he wrote a two-page memo to then-White House press secretary Josh Earnest, which was released by the White House.

The memo noted that it was the fourth exam that Jackson had performed on Obama and included details like his age, weight, height, body mass index, resting heart rate, a heart exam, gastrointestinal status and cholesterol rate. It also noted his social history, commenting on his "healthy lifestyle choices" including "healthy diet" and daily exercise.

Oh, well, then, that makes me feel better! My wife and daughter are not scammers, only me, because I spent my entire career as a health insurance executive. However, I repeat that if I had know I was scamming people, I would have done a better job, because 10 of the insurance companies I worked for are out of business. Still, I regret feeling sorry for the thousands of people over the years whose health insurance applications I denied because they were uninsurable. Hell, If I had known I was just a scammer, I wouldn't have even given it a second thought that I was condemning people to death whose cancerous tumor would never be removed, or the hole in their kid's heart would never be closed with surgery.

Kim Jong Un’s doctor says the same thing

They are both probably right.. You need to go get yourself tested.. There's a bunch of Mad Cow going around...

Trump is healthy, but the press looks unfit after latest fiasco

'Media embarrass themselves by diagnosing President Trump with armchair medical advice'

“It’s like a sitcom. Dr. Jackson is then challenged by TV Dr. Sanjay Gupta who hasn’t examined Trump,” Gainor said. “What will the media do next? Interview the cast of ‘ER’ or perhaps dig up Dr. House and ask their opinions on the president’s height and weight?”

Reporters spent months diagnosing the president as mentally unfit for office, unstable and Trump was even speculated to have early-onset Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

Now that the armchair doctors and psychologists have been proven wrong, many old school journalists would expect an apology, retraction, or even correction but it doesn’t appear that will happen anytime soon.'
