How many will he KILL?

In The Bible Jesus says that one generation shall not pass from a time when Israel is restored to the Holy Land and the time that all the plagues and pestilences and earthquakes kill one third and one quarter of the population (Talk About Overpopulation Reduction Programs, Jesus has the best one.) Then more people are killed by this and that. It wraps it all up and says that Jesus comes back and turns the Remnant of the Earth's population into hamburger. with the blood from their mutilated bodies flowing so freely that it is as high as a horses bridle. Gosh, I hope the horses do not drown. Now, knowing that Jesus is a man of his Word, how many people will he kill to wipe out every last man, woman and child on the Earth? Show us your math. I roughly figure about a Billion. Then all of mankind with all of his pollution and destruction of the Earth will be gone. Remember that Jesus promised that in the future after he sets up his kingdom on Earth there will be no marriage. That will be because there will be no procreation because we will all be dead. Dead people do not get it on, (Sorry, Marvin Gaye.) unless it is in some far out kinky Zombie movie.

That post has it all. Hyper-religious apocalyptic soothsaying coupled with shoddy math and a reference to Motown, then finished off with an allusion to necrophiliac porn. It's the Newbarf way. :thup:

There are so many people who have never read Revelation (or the Bible for that matter.). If any doubt that Jesus is going to kill all of mankind, read these verses from Revelation.

Rev 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Rev 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

Rev 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

Rev 6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

Rev 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

Rev 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand.

Rev 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

Rev 8:8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;

Rev 8:9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

Rev 8:10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

Rev 8:11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

Rev 8:13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

Rev 9:18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

Rev 11:13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Rev 16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

Rev 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and [upon] them which worshipped his image.

Rev 16:3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead [man]: and every living soul died in the sea.

Rev 16:4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.

Rev 16:7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous [are] thy judgments.

Rev 16:8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.

Rev 16:21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, [every stone] about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

Rev 18:8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong [is] the Lord God who judgeth her.

Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him [was] called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

Rev 19:16 And he hath on [his] vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

Rev 19:21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which [sword] proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Rev 21:1 ¶ And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

My point, as previously stated is that most Americans have never read the Bible. When I tell them that God is going to wipe out mankind in a few months (or years), they say that God is a God of Love and totally ignore what the Bible says about God being a God of Great Wrath. They totally ignore all the warnings of the prophets and the words of Jesus Himself when he said what would be coming after Israel is restored to the land of Eden.

In US, atheists know religion better than believers. Is that bad? - CSMonitor.com

The US Religious Knowledge Survey, released Tuesday from the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life, found atheists and agnostics know more basic facts about the Bible than either Protestants or Catholics. Among the other findings:

• 57 percent of Protestants can name the Bible’s four gospels.

• 55 percent of Catholics know their tradition teaches that sacramental bread and wine become Christ’s body and blood.

• 15 percent of white evangelicals know Jonathan Edwards participated in the First Great Awakening.

Take Pew's religious quiz: Are you smarter than an atheist?

Based on a May-June survey of more than 3,400 American adults, these findings point to a dearth of religious knowledge in a country where nearly 6 in 10 adults say religion is “very important” in their lives.

“If you can’t even name the four books that tell us about [Jesus'] teachings and way of life, then you’re in big trouble,” said Fuller Seminary President Richard Mouw. “You don’t know who Jesus is if you don’t even know Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.”

Hmm Israel has been in the holy land for 3 Generations now.

do you believe God the Father, kills both His good and bad children indiscriminately, without thought or reason? If so, then why do you think He does this?

So, you believe that all people on earth will be wiped out, completely?

Doesn't it say that God cuts the great tribulation short....so that all the people on Earth do not die?

And who was the "woman" that He sent in to the dessert, for her own protection? Mary? Christians? or the people of Israel? Whom? Are you saying these people get wiped out as well, even though they were sent to safe haven by God?

Are you saying that He destroys those who destroy the Earth....but what about the people who do not take advantage or with disregard, destroy the Earth? Are they killed as well?

What about "Wormwood", will an asteroid hit us before the great Tribulation, or will this be a part of the Great Tribulation? Why does Christ tell us "not to worry" regarding this time?

Are we to wait in "joyful hope, for the coming of our Savior" or in fear as you?

I'm sorry Neubarth, but I think you are as clueless as most, on Revelation....the Revealing of truth.

Gee, do you think even part of the Earth would survive a star falling on it?

The all-knowing God of the holy bible seems to think if a "great star" fell on Earth it would damage ONLY 1/3 of the rivers! :cuckoo::cuckoo::cuckoo:

He's going to kill everyone but the faithful Muslims.Remember. Allah doesn't have " children". He has slaves.
Because he loves you.
It's a Jewish thang..most don't understand.

I don't know much about the Bible. But one thing I do think I know is that Revelations is the book with the most symbolism and other literary devices, and its interpretations are widely debated. The Four Horseman sound bad ass. :cool:

Isn't jesus supposed to take all the believers with him next time and leave all the rest of us the hell alone?
Can't wait!
