It all traces back to 2013 when the two men appeared on an episode of 60 minutes (separately). Later, he bragged that they were "stablemates" as if to imply they hung out together in the greenroom backstage but the truth of the matter is Trump was interviewed in Manhattan and Putin in Moscow.
