States that have all 3 branches controlled by Democrats add up to 224 electoral votes that Trump could not win.

The States with divided legislatures would only have to make up the outstanding 46 electoral votes to guarantee that Trump could not be elected.

If they did this before the RNC, it would give the GOP a chance to nominate a viable candidate.
