What will happen to these cases if Trump is elected?

I doubt if even the 6-3 Conservative Supreme Court will allow Trump to pardon himself.

But if Trump wins he will appoint his own Attorney General. A key factor in the selection will be how he will respond to these cases against Trump

A new prosecutor will be assigned. The cases will dry up due to a lack of effort. Charges will be dropped.

LOL, starting to accept TRUMP winning in 2024.

A Court would have to determine the Constitutionality of a President pardoning himself. Nixon couldn’t do it.

I doubt the Roberts Court would fall on their sword for this one.
Nixon didn't try to take it to the Supreme Court, his DOJ said he could not.

Why not? What's the Constitutional argument?

The Roberts Court allowing a President to pardon himself would be surrendering our Democracy.

What it would declare is a President is above the law.

There would be no way to prosecute a President. Right now, a President must be impeached first to end his Executive Privilege …then he could be prosecuted.

Your claim is that a President can pardon himself before he can be impeached and be above the law.

Nixon looked into it and was rejected

Well no.

Of course, he didn't talk about business.

I understand. You're a corrupt shit-human yourself, so steeped in evil that you can't even imagine somewhat not behaving like the satanic filth you hang out with and worship.

Don't project. We are not like you.

Anways, nice failure of a deflection attempt. You're clearly terrified about DearLeader going to the BigHouse.
I'm a nice guy! You on the other hand are quite a nasty person as evidenced by the spew you post.

Liberals are starting to see the clock will run out before the election. How sad, now they are scared that there will be retribution for their witch hunt. Of course, there will be, and most deservedly so. Poor little liberals might actually have to feel the weight of responsibility for their petty and evil actions.

Their game.

Their rules.

They will hate it.

How does SCOTUS have authority over any presidential pardon? Presidential pardons are absolute, not case law. Remember when Bill Clinton pardoned Marc Rich who was a heinous criminal whose family were heavy Clinton donators? He even pardoned his own brother Roger who was a known drug felon.

Where was the SCOTUS on these?

Doesn't EVERY president do that?
self pardon? this will be an easy one. please name 1 president , governor, king, or whatever who ever pardoned himself.

What do you care about democracy? How in the world are these crap indictments democracy?

When Trump is elected, he should gut the fbi and doj. Send half of our elected leaders to jail where they belong.

Trump may try to pardon himself, but a 7-2 or 6-3 majority will say, "No, fat old Orange Dude."

His DOJ will put any case on hold and try to dismiss charges.

His DOJ may try to indict Merrick Garland and Jack Smith.

Huh? Trump pardons himself regarding Biden's sham charges and then you loons impeach him, again. Where's the issue? Again, where's the COnstitional argument? THere is none

Since there is zero chance of Trump being elected, this is a moot point.

All these “charges” are designed to render the thread question moot and prevent him from being elected and possibly even from
running for election .
These “charges” stem from a ludicrous extrapolation that Trump is Not Allowed to utter that he “thinks something was wrong with the election”.
It shows how far liberals have fallen that not only must they cheat but they can’t even allow the opportunity of him running even with their cheating because they might Still Lose
Also these all Democrat and minority grand juries out of DC are blatantly absurd and prejudiced

The tact that conservatives are taking is hilarious!

All he did is say that there was "something wrong with the election".

It's a free speech issue!

Trump knew that he lost, not that he thought something was wrong with the elections.

He lied and put the Republic in danger.

Now he will pay for it and pay for it and pay for it. And so will his dupe followers.
