What the Quran really says

Moses wasn't a Prophet?.....:D:clap2::razz:

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Show me where the Bible says Moses is a prophet.

If you don't know that Moses is a Prophet then you're not a Christian and failure of a person. End of story troll, you're on ignore.

Yet, you cannot show me from the Bible to back up your assertion. I can. Numbers 12:6-7

God said he speaks to prophets in dreams and visions, but God spoke to Moses face to face like a friend. God never calls Moses his prophet. You can't show me from the Bible because it's not there.

Here is a verse which name drops 9 names all in one sentence. As usual it gives no real information, and tells no story.

6.84 We gave him Isaac and Jacob: all (three) guided: and before him, We guided Noah, and among his progeny, David, Solomon, Job, Joseph, Moses, and Aaron: thus do We reward those who do good:

Here are two verses that claim Moses did the bible miracles. Obviously Muslims have to believe in that, but I do not. Having no religion I am not bound by any doctrines, and free to trash all texts not just the quran.

2.50 And remember We divided the sea for you and saved you and drowned Pharaoh's people within your very sight.

7.107 Then (Moses) threw his rod, and behold! it was a serpent, plain (for all to see)!

Because the stories are in the following verses....gee...what a hard concept.

No! no stories, just more name dropping.

6.83 That was the reasoning about Us, which We gave to Abraham (to use)
against his people: We raise whom We will, degree after degree: for thy Lord is full
of wisdom and knowledge.

6.84 We gave him Isaac and Jacob: all (three) guided: and before him, We guided
Noah, and among his progeny, David, Solomon, Job, Joseph, Moses, and Aaron: thus
do We reward those who do good:

6.85 And Zakariya and John, and Jesus and Elias: all in the ranks of the
righteous:

6.86 And Isma'il and Elisha, and Jonas, and Lot: and to all We gave favour above
the nations:

There are specific chapters for stories....either way only in your mind could someone think that's a point.

The only chapter/sura that deals with one bible story is sura 12, and I wrote a piece on that to show it is incomprehensible. It leaves out vital information that makes it impossible to understand unless you have already read the bible story of Joseph.

You're trolling yet again, these 'bible' stories are nothing but Torah stories, and Islam and Christianity both believe in these Prophets and their miracles. It's meant to be in the Bible and Quran, and plenty of the stories are mentioned in the first longest chapter in the Quran , Surat al Baqara.

But wow...I mean...an average American knows what sura and hadiths means, they're learning Islam at an faster rate than Muslims in the US, I feel like I'm speaking to Muslims...dis nice...:D

LOL. Everyone who challenges you is "trolling". LOL. Grow up.

You say the stories are MENTIONED and that is the keyword. The quran only mentions everything, and it changes the subject as often as the telephone directory.
The quran is very poorly written, as one would expect from the ramblings of an illiterate arab bandit. The quran was transcribed from bits of bark and leaves that it was originally writtten down on. I wonder what the goat that ate some of it edited out of existence.

As for christians believing the old testament myths, I see no reason why they should.

Dajjal, I'm gonna start calling you Ahmed, you've read every verse in the Quran and I'm very proud of you, Ahmed...:D...you probably already have a spot reserved for you in Paradise...:D. All that's remaining on you is to pray for me and for us to be joined Paradise...:D....alhamdillah brother.

You notice how you call them Old Testament myths? All those stories are directly from the Torah. So they aren't Bible stories, Torah stories, is it really that difficult for you to admit that? You leave the burden and on Christians and Muslims but you never admit it belongs to the Torah....hmmm....Pat Condell is that you?

I despise the Allah of the quran, and consider him a monster so there is no way I am going to be allowed into his boring heaven. in any case,I do not want to sit aroung by flowing streams where the fruit hangs low, being waited on by wide eyed youths, and surrounded by 72 wives. Thats a fantasy that only some dusty old desert Arab would dream of.
Even if I beg for mercy when faced with hellfire I will still despise a depraved God that would throw anyone into it, so there will be no chance for me in your afterlife. It does not matter how long Allah burns me for I will never respect such a maniac.

You keep copying and pasting your propaganda, and I'll just keep using the Word of God. Carry on.

The word of men high on camel poop claiming its the word of some god. Your insults only help in continuing to give christianity a bad name.

No one cares what some anonymous posters thinks about someone giving Christianity a bad name. Participate in the discussion or take a hike.

Are you a Mod? Nope. So you have no authority to tell anyone to butt out of a thread do you. Your only contribution to this thread has been insults when some one fails to agree with your baseless :bsflag:claims.

Now's your chance, loud mouth. Show everybody one of my "baseless claims", and then stick around while I prove you wrong.

Racism is not something I respond to.

Was Jesus the only begotten son of God?

In the book of Psalms 2:7 we find "I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee." David, in this verse, is saying that God had told him he was the son of God and God has begotten him. Clearly Jesus is not the only begotten son of God.

Of course, one could say that although Jesus was not the only begotten son of God, he had no human father in contrast to David who had a human father. That is true! Since Jesus had no human father it makes the relationship between him and God a closer one. The question is what about Adam? Adam had no human father nor a human mother, and according to the Bible he too was the son of God. The Bible says, "And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli." (Luke3:23) The Bible goes on to mention the supposed genealogy of Jesus Christ. At the end of this genealogy the Bible comes to Adam, and it says, "Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God." (Luke 3:38). So Adam is also the son of God. According to the assumption: "because Jesus had no human father then he is closer to God than David who had a human father," we can safely conclude that Adam is better than Jesus because he did not have a human father or mother.

The truth is Jesus and Adam do not differ in God’s sight. They were a mere creation of God. The Holy Quran says in clear terms, "Verily, similitude of Jesus with God is as the similitude of Adam; He created him out of dust then said He unto him BE, and he became." (Ch 3: Vr 59).

Yeshua was "begotten". Adam was "created".

And all you have to prove this is the bible. So what makes the bible anymore correct than the Quran? Belief does not equal fact.

Funny, the quran mimics the Bible in the beginning, yet not one question over the "authenticity" of its words/beliefs.

Are you telling me that you are a "darwinist"?
