But seriously, I lived in the South half my life and nobody I know has ever eaten a possum, unless you count the Beverly Hillbillies.

My Grandpa had a 200 acre farm in Arkansas where he raised mostly chickens and cows. Sometimes a cow would die,out there in the field.

I once saw a dead cow and upon closer examination, it looked like the cow's belly was moving. I kicked the damned thing and out of its ass came a freaking possum! It had crawled up inside that dead cow and was eating its way to the outside.

No possum for me, thank you.

A cross between squirrel and pork...but you boil it, then bake it. It's a lot better than you might think, but greasy...hence the baking or roasting. People are way too squeamish about what they eat. Meat is meat.

It's a joke. I've always wondered what they do put in the can. There are always cans of RoadKill Stew around as stocking stuffer jokes at Christmas time, and if you shake it, there really is something in there.
