American. My philosophy is based upon the classical liberalism of the Founding Fathers as expressed via the Constitution. I am not interested in having a Eurocentric taint, Napoleonic law, Democratic-Socialism, modern-day cultural neuroses or multicultural behavioral quirks disrupting the model created by the Founders.

I was wondering what the numbers are on everyone’s political leanings.

Not long ago I would have ‘identified’ as Center Right....today, I’ll proudly go with Alt Right White Nationalist.
how about Alt Right Activist?? the MSM/blacks/etc think ''nationalist'' is EVIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha...that’ll work too. I’m not real concerned by ignorant fools crying “racist” in an attempt to thwart the truth from being discussed. The Loons have used that tactic for far to long to oppress speech and the acknowledgement of facts.

Centrist, politically speaking. But don't believe in labels that are ambiguous. So my notion of "centrist" mainly entails a belief in reasonable employee and consumer rights as oppose to the purest form of laissez-faire. I believe in a progressive income tax system for it is my view that the richer one is then the more valuable the service the government provides, especially in regards to national security.
I see social welfare as something of need but would prefer to see that accomplished through public works projects rather than hand-outs.

I wouldn't mind seeing a more secure border wall built, having had a Mexican drop in front of my car from the existing wall. Luckily he didn't pull a John Wilkes Booth on his landing and was able to aptly judge my car's moderate speed. Also these folks crossing the desert cause me humanitarian concern. Although I do wonder if there isn't a more effective use of that money to handle the situation since a good percentage of the undocumented immigrants enter the country legally and simply overstay their welcome.

BTW *centrists* are lying. They are leftists who like to lie about their ideology.

I don’t really know the ppl who voted as centrists, so I cant say.
They don't vote as centrists. They vote as democrats.

I find that way of thinking similar to saying non-centrists are those too dumb to think for themselves and need to be guided by the hand in their political philosophy. I see a lot of that here where a lot of good and bad is decided not by facts of the matter but which side benefits from the situation.

I lean right of center. My favorite president was Theodore Roosevelt. While he was pro-business, believed in maintaining a strong military and was a gun owner and supporter of the 2nd Amendment, he created our National Parks and National Forests to preserve some pristine areas for all to visit. His administration was also responsible for the Panama Canal and while he wanted to have a Social Security Program in effect, the Conservative Republicans vetoed it as they felt that it was too socialist. It was a socialist idea, but a good one that helped the elderly.
Conservatives tend to alienate the overall populace over time; a good example is Herbert Hoover (his motto: Rugged Individualism). The nation was in the throes of a depression, the World War I veterans had been promised a bonus and the government had not honored its promise. When the veterans and their families set up camp outside the White House in protest, demanding their promised bonus, Hoover, rather than go out and listen to their complaints, sent troops to forcibly remove them and eight people were shot in the process. The nation became so enraged that when Roosevelt (a Democrat) ran for president, he was voted in by a huge majority and with the Bonus Army (as they came to be called) outside the White House, he sent his wife out who gave them coffee and listened to their complaints. Result of his New Deal.....he won four terms.
