Because our Health Care System is a major part of the economy, and a very disfunctional part. It delivers very poor service for a very high price compared to other industrialized nations Health Care Systems.

As far that the space program is concerned, for eight years Bush knew the shuttle fleet was aging, and we needed a new launch system. And did absolutely nothing. So don't lecture me on what President Obama has not done.

In my world when the economy of the country hits an iceberg, the president should be busy saving the ship rather than parts of it that are "dysfunctional" (of which there are many, such as the public school system). As far as I recall the crash of 08 was not caused directly by the health care system. One would first stabilize the country, then focus on parts that need to be fixed. But no, Obama had to first take care of his croonies that got him elected.

Let's just hold Obama to his own words, shall we? He got elected mostly because of the economy, and he himself said that come November 12, if the economy had not turned around then the American people have every right to vote him out.

Absolutely not. Can you read? ACA was done in a year, the stimulus turned the economy around after 6 months- then the Pubs took over a filibust regime 2/2009 and blocked further recovery measures. Luckily, just enough had been done. Now the a-holes and dupes get their reward.
