Interesting study in eight battleground states finds the following changes in registration in eight important states over the period 2008- 2011...

    1. Republicans registration has fallen 3.1%

    2. Democrat registration has fallen 5.4%

    3. Independent registration is up 3.4%

    States:
    Colorado
    Florida
    Iowa
    Nevada
    New Hampshire
    New Mexico
    North Carolina
    Pennsylvania

    Independents Day 2012

Seems "the One" has lost lots of folks who actually believed him in '08...

I don't know how many people "lots of folks" involves, but I hope it's enough to boot his ass out.

If they are "registering" then they would not have voted for him at all. You only register people who weren't on the rolls to begin with.

So explain again how that translates into "Seems "the One" has lost lots of folks who actually believed him in '08".

That's not entirely true. You fill out the same form if you are changing affiliation.

No, it says changes IN registration, not changes TO registration.

It means that the number of people registering with the parties is down from past years.
