Before all of this reparation stuff going on I mean. Were black and white people ever on even terms, or is the general consensus that black and white people have never and will never be the same? I have my own thoughts and opinions on this, but it would be suicide to mention them in my OP in a zone 1 thread.

True, you do make a good point as straight whites aren't equal to the alphabet people and black people tend to want to kill each other as black on black crime has to have the highest crime rate.

I think you may be asking the wrong question.

A better question, in my opinion, would be to question if Black people and white people ever have had equal rights in the United States that is, assuming this country is what you're asking about.

Nope, no one is equal. Now equality under the law can be achieved with a lot of effort, there is a reason Lady Justice is wearing a blindfold. Justice is supposed to be blind. For that to work, we need to find some way to get real objective judges on the bench. Perhaps a randomly picked odd number of citizens might work better than a single, professional judge.

Liberals don’t believe in the message of Martin Luther King Jr any more. Most of them don’t even know. They still like the idea of MLK but they do not believe in his ideas any more. University’s now teach that you are supposed to judge a man by the color of his skin. Because the color of his skin denotes his position within the intersectionality framework. They claim being “color blind” ignores an important part of that persons identity. Entire multicultural courses don’t even contain a single footnote to MLK because they don’t believe in his philosophies anymore.
