In a speech to political experts in Russia’s Black Sea resort of Sochi, Mr Putin pointed to wars in Iraq, Libya and Syria as examples of botched US policies that have led to chaos.

With visible emotion, he said Washington and its allies have been “fighting against the results of its own policy” in those countries.

Not risk so much as deliberately plan for them. War's big business now. We don't want to avoid them, we want more of them. Or rather, the corporations who supply everything used in war wnats more of them. And since they control the government, we have endless pointless wars we never seem to win since the longer they drag on, the more money the corporations make.

President Putin was not warning about new wars as much as he was warning about one new war.

That war is exceptionally necessary. Putin has enormous patience to have put up with our own presidunce for this long.
