Anyway this was a quote by PM of australia Mr. John Howard.

"If i was running al qauda in iraq, I would put a circle around March 2008 and be praying as many times as possible for a victory not only for Obama but also for the Democrats"

First of all, nobody on this planet gives a shit about what the prime minister of australia has to say, when was there last war? He is just another friend of bush's, who knows nothing about how to fix iraq.

Secondly, arent the conservatives always ranting about how the liberals dont support the troops and that they constantly kill troop moral?!?! Howard is not the first person i have heard about saying stuff like this. I have heard so many republicans saying stuff like, "they are praying for an obama victory and a victory for the democrats". How do you think the troops feel that people back home are saying they cant win if obama gets elected, they cant win if the democrats win the white house?!?!? Whats the point of being out there if people are telling them they cant win?

The democrats are not saying we cant win, they are saying we can win if we set goals. We can fix what this administration broke. Our troops can win no matter who is in power, as long as they make the right strategic decisions.

I think we can finish the job in 1 year, and we will win. I seriously dont get why conservatives want our troops over there to occupy and live if we dont have goals and serious benchmarks for the iraqi's. Are we going to call it the 51st state? The united states of iraq? Can i buy a house over there? How's the real estate market right now? Is there a mc'donalds?

I know how to fix iraq, i really do, either send every single troop we have and create a military lockdown. Or get every single troop out by next year depending on if the iraqis meet there goals. Also divide the oil equally among religous groups. Ask for help from kuwait, ask for boarder troops from surrounding countrys. Negotiate with surrounding country's to at least build the bridge of communication. That was easy, too bad i cant run for president, im not an evangelical. And god does'nt tell me to invade small countries.

Australia has 850 troops. Oh wow, how big is the australian army? The prime minister is even stupider than president bush, he is all worked up about "the war on terrorism" and passes several laws that take away civil libertys of the australian people, yet he only sends 850 troops to fight? Yea cuz we all know the next target is australia. Right? He even said "We will not withdraw until the terrorists are defeated"........ok.....so all the worlds terrorists are in iraq and we can defeat them all one by one? Half the people we are fighting are Iraqis!!!!!! Muslim extremists who hate america, not terrorists who pose a global threat. Especially not to Australia!!

I dont get why people are saying we must stay until they are defeated! WHO??? We are not defeating anyone we are trying to control the violence so the iraqis can create democracy. Why is everyone saying we are going to defeat the the terrorists?!? We defeated saddam, so the mission is now changed, create democracy and control violence. Then invade iran.

Maybe, if i join the reserve and shoot myself in the leg, grab a purple heart, and charm the pants off of everyone who sees me. Wink occasionally, try to open locked doors, go on vacation every month, shoot my cabinet members in the face with a shotgun, declare a victory in iraq prematurally, go gay bashing, do not talk with any country's except the cool ones, and the ones who can give me stuff. Exploit christians, have low approval ratings, Oh and lose the popular vote but win the electoral college.

    You forgot the following:

    1) invent the internet

    2) generate a crisis of global scope (when there may or may not be one)

    3) make inane statements and proclaim the US guilty of causing all the world's problems.

CSM... if you ran your commands as poorly as you run your mouth... no wonder the Army was in such a mess during the 90s.

Is a distraction technique such as the one above the best you can do? We're talking about Iraq and the Administration running the war there. What are you talking about?

    --

I think Barack's response to this blowhard Australian was great:

"So if he is ginned up to fight the good fight in Iraq, I would suggest that he calls up another 20,000 Australians and sends them to Iraq," Obama said. "Otherwise it's just a bunch of empty rhetoric."

Australia sent 450 more troops to Iraq in February, adding 50% to the strength it had there previously... they're now up to 1400 troops, or roughly 1% of what we have there.

You shouldn't dismiss the contribution of the Australians as allies in times of war, before you say something stupidly ignorant like "when was there last war" again, try reading a fucking book or researching on the net, you might not come across as such an idiot.

Im not attacking the small contributions of australia, i just dont like howard, how he tells his own people we need to pass this law so give up your civil liberty's for the war on terrorism and let us record your phone calls and invade your home, as if anyone wants to target them.

    Secondly
You are a moron, australia has only been attacked on there own soil once, that was world war 2. Other than that, they have not deployed more than 950 troops in any minor or major war, thats not alot considering they have a total of about 30,000 troops able to fight. Roomy thinks we can win the war on terrorism with 900 troops, are you serious? Do you know how many insurgents are in iraq? How about afganistan? 3,000 american troops have died, 3 times the amount of troops they have deployed in the last century. How can you sit there and act like howard has any buisness with our forgeign policy making in iraq, sure they can help us but why is howard trying to convince BUSH to stay as well? Bush is like a baby, you cant influence him like that.

Plus, I was attacking the PM wanting to stay past the 2008 goal set by the democrats. I was NOT attacking the royal army of australia you idiot, next time read what I am trying to explain, Howard makes the decisions, not the army.

france has pulled out, because everyone knows this vendetta has been won with saddam, and now we are caught in a civil war.

All im saying is if he is serious about keeping peace, and wants to win the war on terrorism, and if he really supports bush so much, he can start by deploying a chunk of those 30,000 troops they have lying around. What are they afraid of being attacked for the second time in history?!? If howard will not quit until the terrorists are defeated, then try and defeat them with more than 800 troops next time.

    So Called War On Terrorism

Saving American Lives? Not in my Name!
A surprised interviewer got a glimpse at the face of true evil last week when Vice peeResident SElect Dick "Torquemada" Cheney, whose daughter is a lesbian, boasted that he would dunk a terrorist in water if it would save "American lives" of all things.

American lives? I cannot place enough exclamation points at the end of this sentence to adequately express my outrage!!!!!!!

Put aside for a moment that fact that American lives are not Cheney's to save; but are they even worth saving? Does a society that would sanction the dunking of an innocent terrorist for the sake of self-preservation even deserve to exist?

As a patriotic liberal who spent the weekend vainly hoping his underwear would dry through his pants, I couldn't live with myself knowing that somewhere out there someone was going through the same unspeakable torture just to protect the lives of people who are vastly inferior to me. I encourage other progressives who feel the same way to join their shrill voices with mine and demand that that no more terrorists are dunked, doused, drenched, or moistened in our names. The lives of the American people are simply not worth it.
