Ukrainian army re-enter desolate and destroyed by Muscovite occupiers town of Sumy

Bravo Ukraine heroes, you are the best and will win ! Muscovy has created such an hatred that this will never ever be forgotten. Moscow empire will never ever be able to occupy this land with peace.
the Free World (Western part ) didn't realize how far ahead western tactics and technology was ahead of the Asian Barbarians , I'm sure China probably isn't much better than Muscovite horde .

It is actually a problem that goes back to the old Soviet days. We would get copies of the official reports put to the Soviet Leadership. We assumed that those reports were accurate. Other times we attempt to interpret photographs or videos.

The Mig 25 as one example. We had aviation experts examine photographs and video of the thing flying by at parades. We decided we would not build a plane that couldn’t do X or Y. So obviously the Russians wouldn’t.

We didn’t realize the Soviets had designed a short range supersonic interceptor. It was designed to catch the B-70’s we never put into production.

But it meant we had to design a Fighter to beat the Mig-25. That the Mig couldn’t do anything we imagined it could was not known until the F-15 was in testing and production.

So now you see the issue. We assume that the subordinates are reporting truthfully to the leaders. But what happens when the leaders are being misled? It is why I said in another thread that in the Soviet System. Everyone lied. The factory workers lied to their bosses and said the products met specifications. The bosses lied to their bosses and up the chain it went. With every step embellishing a little to look good.

Occasionally good things would slip through the cracks. The Mig-29 as one example. It is a very good dog fighter. It can turn tighter than a F/A-18 as one example.

Other things include the understanding of the enemy tactics. Russians always expect infantry to fight infantry. Tanks to fight tanks. So the prepared response for a missile attack on a column is for infantry to go and kill the missile shooters. But the missile shooters are killing the infantry carriers first. That leaves the tanks vulnerable.

Tanks can’t rush into the woods to get the enemy infantry. So they have to withdraw and wait for more infantry. Then they come under attack later.

Finally. The Russian Troops are not as willing to ignore threats to their lives as their ancestors. No Zampolit behind them holding guns on them to drive the troops forward.

By embracing the strengths of the Soviet System, Putin has gotten the bad too. And the bad far outweighs the good.

Considering our own failures in more recent projects I don't know if laughing at the Russians for their much more cost efficient systems is appropriate in the context of fighters.

The f 35 is often compared to a sports car with no reliability

And we're only a few weeks into the war people. The Russian way of war has never been to start strong, lol

We forget militaries need to be used to remain effective. No military in history has maintained battle readiness of previous war faring generations when their generation has been mostly peace. American forces have been honed a lot more than Russian in the last few decades. And we pay a lot more to get similar things done.

The Russians are busy purging the corrupt and incompetent. They will be a vastly better fighting force in a few months relative to what you saw. And if the conflict continues they will have hundreds of thousands of battle hardened veterans. In the Russian way, not through training. But through live fire and failure.

WHY DID THE U.S. INTELLIGENCE OVERESTIMATED Moscow'S CAPABILITIES

Do you want the long boring answer or the one that cuts directly to the chase?

short is better, right?

the Deep State are a bunch of politically biased incompetents

Our intelligence is corrupt and pushes a corrupt agenda...Initially they wanted, allowed, and encouraged Russia..........

In a few months? Russia’s economy is already in the crapper. In six months the only planes flying over Russia will be Chinese Airlines.

If Russia doesn’t get the Sanctions lifted soon the quality of their fighting men will be the least of their worries. Their airlines will never have any international routes. They will be reduced to hoping for a couple regional airlines.

Every industry is stalled. They have already asked China for more weapons. The bravest man in the world is worthless without weapons.

If they had the IQ of a rock they would already have gone home. If they were smart. They would never have invaded. A long war insures that Russia as a nation is finished.

Our sanctions hit them less than 10%, they're fine. ANd the price of gas keeps going up.

And they're not westerners. They won't collapse as you imagine. lol

And every industry is stalled? They're a fucking petro state and the price of oil is rising. He couldn't have picked a better moment for this. They can sustain fighting ukraine as it is indefinitely.

Over half the planets population doesn't care about Ukraine...They have plenty of trade partners. All we did was scare the Chinese a bit and weaken our own economic system that we have total control over.

Why the fuck would they go home? They control a huge swathe of Ukraine and will get concessions by all parties? This is just delusional wish casting.

Using vague words like "profound" to describe sanction effects is absurd

There has been no substantive effect from sanctions on a policy level, just like there never is. And often we get much better results than countries like India and China ignoring us an continuing to trade. No one cares about Ukraine outside the west. They're poor whites with basically nothing of value in that shit hole.

Eastern Euros have never mattered on the world stage outside.....Russians

You really are not thinking this through. Let’s begin shall we?

Russia has a finite number of Customers. Frankly it is basically China, and India who are willing to buy the oil. So like everything else, it is supply and demand. Only the demand is less now. So be honest, do you really think China and India are going to pay Market Price for Oil from Russia?

Also, gas prices are dropping. They’ve dropped over a dollar in the last couple weeks. So the effect on the world for Oil is already mitigated.

China is buying more Oil from Russia, and that means the oil they were buying from others, is being bought by the rest of the world. Again, supply and demand.

And there has been a substantive effect on a Policy Level. Putin has guaranteed that the Russian Airlines are finished. Let me explain.

When he nationalized the leased aircraft, he insured that nobody will lease an airplane to any Russian Airline for decades. Nobody will be willing to risk the money.

So even if the Sanctions dropped today, the Russian Airlines would have to buy every aircraft they wanted. But they can’t buy them. They can’t get parts for the ones they already have. So again, Putin decided to change the regulations on Airplane inspections, and maintenance. What that means is those aircraft just lost their airworthiness certificates. You can get those back, but it’s almost cheaper to buy another plane. You would have to strip the plane to the frame, and replace nearly every component before it could fly internationally again.

That is a substantive result from the Sanctions, and Putin’s policies. The Russian Airlines are basically through. No one will sell them a plane, no one will lease one to them even when the Sanctions are lifted, if they are, and what does that leave?

The International Space Station. If anything, this speeds up the efforts of the various private contractors to get their systems ready. Especially since we can’t pay Russia for their rockets anymore, thanks to the shutdown of the SWIFT Banking system.

Russia has only begun the long collapse into third world status. The few things they did produce, will be replaced by other companies within six months. One example, again with Aviation. Titanium cores for Jet Engines. Russia has a lot of experience in working with Titanium. But there are other companies, that are even now retooling and setting up to produce the components that used to be built in Russia. Those companies will be up and producing in about six months. So when the Sanctions are lifted, the facilities in Russia will have to operate at a loss for years to compete. More damage to the economy. Assuming anyone wants to buy from a Russian Company, which they would prefer to avoid.

For the rest of the world, there will be delays of a couple months on new jet engines, but that delay won’t last long, as other companies start to produce the handful of components, mostly based in Titanium, that Russia made.

Again, I doubt Russia will recover this decade.

So with China and India getting the oil cheaper than on the international open market, Russia’s income will be slashed. Russian Aviation is finished. They’ll never recover. Russian manufacturing is crippled, and will likely never recover.

The economy is already headed for full Depression, and all thanks to Putin’s blind ambition.

China and India alone are over a 1/4 of the world popluation. Again plenty of markets to sell to, and we in the west don't buy Russian shit anyway. And a lot more markets than China and India are open to the Russians.

All these assumptions are predicated on the idea that Russians can't handle living without modern western products. Which is not true, they will not react the we would react to such a standard of living loss. They will do as Putin says, rebuild domestically in a more mercantilist system.

The war will continue until they win. They own the escalation ladder. We will not do anything to change that. And the Ukrainians do not have the strength.

Same reason we got the advantage in the cuban missile crisis. We will torch the planet over Cuba, the soviets weren't crazy enough to risk it over Cuba. Just liek we aren't over Ukraine.

If we wanted to defend Ukraine we would have put them in NATO in 04 when the Russians were still weak enough to do this to. We are not going to sanction of all people Russians into the ground.

ivan you are drunk again

lol telling me eastern euros care is like telling me iraqis care about something

Americans willing to die for Ukrainians at any scale? What? We don't even like high gas prices for them

The Hague will tell you ivan, for your war - crimes

Looks like I entered a gay circle jerk. Remind me in a year when the dollar is in the toilet and Ukraine is paying war reparations to Russia.
