The mother herself is to blame. What sane adult leaves a gun in front of a toddler? With easy access and loaded on top of that?

So are inner city black thugs, robbers, carjackers, drive-by shooters,drug dealers, and gangsta wannabes part of this "gun culture" you mentioned?

Because I checked the roster from my gun club and I didn't see any of their names on the list.

seriously...a 2 year old picks up a gun...they're heavy and manages to pull the trigger, it has to be a hairtrigger for that to happen and i bet this was not. I suspect they should do a better job of figuing out if someone else was in that house....and i'll bet there was.

and the mom was talking on the phone to the police. How about...some other woman pretending to be her.

This just doesn't smell right.
