Trump Removed from Maine Primary Ballot

Maine barred Donald Trump from the primary ballot Thursday, making it the second state in the country to block the former president from running again under a part of the Constitution that prevents insurrectionists from holding office.

The decision by Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows (D) is sure to be appealed. The Colorado Supreme Court last week found Trump could not appear on the ballot in that state, and the Colorado Republican Party has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to review the case. The nation’s high court could resolve for all states whether Trump can run again.

If other states follow the same strategy in bouncing Dotard off the ballot using the 14th you can stick a fork in him, he's done.

It was an organized network of Dem "Secretary of States" that was the network of voter fraud Biden accidentally blurted about. Every single state that had a democrat secretary of state ( set rules and how ballots are handled, EMPLOY- SELECT- TRAIN POLL WORKERS, & used their position to tweek and break state voting laws ) magically went Biden's way and since everyone will be looking at the techniques they used in 2020, they have to use what they already said a while ago they'd use, manipulate laws and process to kick him off the ballot.

The pushback if There were any Republican's left with balls, should be to make formal charges against the secretary of States that circumvented and broke state and federal laws in handling of uncleaned up ballot mailing lists(more ballots mailed than were registered), late ballots, illegitimate signatures and methods of checking and accepting of them, and violating voting laws and blocked Republican witnessing of the vote counts. Along with Secretary of States violating the law (judicial interference and rights to vote)through throwing Trump off the their ballot.
Charges can include racketeering since it's a network of conspired intimidation and fraud, besides just abuse of power and other charges.

Political theater. Once they open the door it will bite them in the ass. SCOTUS will necessarily squash it or become irrelevant.
Either is possible. My money is on #1.

What are you all going to do if the USSC reverses all of these decisions? What are you going to do if the USSC allows them to stand and republican states start barring Biden from the ballot?
 
That sounds like a grand idea.

I'd thoroughly enjoy seeing Trump banned from the Maine primary ballot.

But it was a Democrat SoS who made that judgment call.

Generally speaking, Democrat officials lack the ball$ to go the distance.

When it comes to sticking to their position and making the ban stick...
