Transformers vs. G.I. Joe is an ongoing comic book series published by IDW Publishing. "Transformers vs. G.I. Joe" (IDW) #1 presents an exciting introduction story in which the patriotic American soldiers called G.I. Joes prepare to welcome an alien robot species called Transformers landing on Earth, but intentions are hostile. Operation Coltonbolt is engaged by the G.I. Joes to handle the evil Decepticon Transformers (as the valiant Autobot Transformers do likewise), and the Joe adversary, the sinister Baroness of Cobra becomes an evil Serpentress.
The drawings are simple, colorful, and dynamic, and the dialogue is witty and straightforward.
