I have seen between 15 and 25 billion...

I have an idea. Let's give the 5.7 B which would be about a third of the funding, get some of the most important sections of the Wall built and give it a few years with some close study to see how effective it is.
Would that be agreeable? If Pres promised not to shut down the government every time the budget comes up for the next--however many years it takes to build the Wall and spend two to three years closely studying its impact?

I think they're playin with ya, Blues Legend. Statistics and those kind of financial facts are real real easy to manipulate. Just choose the columns you like and make some "estimates" and some "projections."
I don't trust any of them, and I highly doubt if it's true they are such an economic burden as all that.
But I'd rather see them brought into the daylight with a legal green card if they have a clean record, but with no rights to the "chain migration" requests or citizenship unless they were part of the DACA program.
