I agree. The fossil fuel industry has to keep the pumps running and anything in their way has to be destroyed or discredited. But they do know who their friends are and who will do their dirty work. A lack of money will not be an issue for them.

This "business round table" mentioned in the article reminds me of the scene in The Godfather II where Michael Corleone is seated around a conference table with all the other corrupt business people singing the praises of Batista.
