The difference between anti-Zionism and criticism of Israel

Bruce Hoffman’s latest book Anonymous SoldiersThe Struggle For Israel 1917-47. It’s a great book, one passage seemed to provide an almost incredible juxtaposition to the events of the modern day Corbyn Labour Party;

***In December 1917, just weeks after the Balfour Declaration was issued, the [Labour] party had enthusiastically endorsed the creation of a Jewish national home in Palestine. Ten successive party conferences, including the most recent one held in December 1944, had reaffirmed that pledge. That conference in fact had endorsed a geographically and politically expansive pro-Zionist platform that included monetary incentives to persuade Palestine’s Arab population to relocate elsewhere. Such proposals went beyond what even Ben-Gurion and the Jewish Agency were advocating. The Labour Party had also staunchly opposed the 1939 white paper, which it had previously denounced as both a regrettable “breach of faith” and a “breach of British honour.” Indeed, as the end of the war in Europe neared, its National Executive Committee had called for the gates of Palestine to be opened to the Jewish survivors of Hitler’s death camps. “There is surely neither hope nor meaning in a ‘Jewish National Home,’” a report of the executive’s 1944 meeting had proclaimed, “unless we are prepared to let Jews, if they wish, enter this land in such numbers as to become a majority. There was a strong case for this before the War. There is an irresistible case now, after the unspeakable atrocities of the…Nazi plan to kill all Jews in Europe.”***

And since they could not achieve a majority of Jews they created a majority by ethnically cleansing the Palestinians.

Ethnic cleansing of Pal'istan' ™

What a hoot.

You forgot to include the Genocide of Pal'istanians ™, slogan that often accompanies such silliness.

Really, sweetie. Such silly slogans and cliche's only serve to identify you as a frantic whiner.

Don't you get anything? That piece was pertaining to the change in attitude of the British Labour Party.

And since 1920 there has never been a minority of arab muslims in Palestine has there, so where is the ethnic cleansing. You know like the ethnic cleansing of Christians in gaza and the west bank that has decimated their numbers by 90%. One thing you can say about the Palestinians they know how to ethnically cleanse a land, after all they have had 1400 years of practise.

Off topic ramblings again

Daniel Sherman says "the essence of Zionism is the stubborn refusal to sit quietly on the sidelines of history, but rather to step up onto the stage as actors able to forge a new drama and to contribute in a positive manner to what we hope will be a wondrous and constantly improving Jewish and, more broadly, human story."

The essence of Zionism was the colonization of Palestine through the dispossession of the native inhabitants of Palestine using the British as armed goons.

The essence of Palestinism is to continue to occupy land which was stolen from the native inhabitants of Israel, Judea and Samaria.

No, that's Zionism.

No, you're just another ignorant islamo-spokesbeard who has practiced his taqiyya.... just poorly.

Translation of important Muslim Brotherhood book: Jihad is the way - PMW Bulletins

Muslim Brotherhood goal: Islamic world domination
- "...the Islamic Ummah [nation]... can regain its power, be liberated and assume its rightful position which was intended by Allah, as the most exalted nation among men, as the teachers of humanity..."
- "...know your status, so that you firmly believe that you are the masters of the world, even if your enemies desire your degradation..."

- "It should be known that Jihad and preparation for Jihad are not only for the purpose of fending-off assaults and attacks against Muslims by Allah's enemies, but are also for the purpose of realizing the great task of establishing an Islamic state, strengthening the religion and spreading it around the world..."

Gee whiz. "Peaceful inner strugglers are not always so peaceful, especially when it means murder and mayhem in muhammud's (swish) name.

- "...Jihad for Allah is not limited to the specific region of the Islamic countries. The Muslim homeland is one and is not divided. The banner of Jihad has already been raised in some of its parts, and it shall continue to be raised, with the help of Allah, until every inch of the land of Islam will be liberated, the State of Islam will be established..."

For your edification, Hamas is the bastard stepchild of the Muslim brotherhood.

The essence of Palestinism is to continue to occupy land which was stolen from the native inhabitants of Israel, Judea and Samaria.

No, that's Zionism.

So you are now saying that the Jews did not get the land in 1924, right after the arab muslims lost in it in 1917. Are you another one that does not want International laws to apply to the Jews when it supports them ?
