The press has even done investigations on hunters laptop all of which confirmed that it was probably a Russian plant, and that files were added after it was dropped off at the repair shop.

The Washington Post, even hired forensic investigators to look at the hard drive.

The fact simply don’t back up any of your assertions.

Also, how much information about an event can be crammed into a 30 second tv news report. All one gets is the impression the media wants you to get. Even the 'deep dives' into the subject can mislead. This is especially true of public media. What is lacking is more honest investigative journalism.

When I was 19, I and a friend along with a large group of minors were arrested at a party. I and my friend were charged with providing beer for minors, the minors for underage drinking. There was a lengthy report the next day in the newspapers. There was not a single 'fact' in the report that was true. No one that was at the party was ever interviewed by the press. The press reported only what the police told them. I'm still waiting for an apology.

What lie about Hunters laptop? Hunters, laptop has been confirmed to be mostly faked. Only one signatory to that letter, has said otherwise, and he was a Trump loyalist.

I’m gonna go with the 50 people who didn’t recant their signatures on the letter. They said the laptop had all the earmarks of Russian disinformation.

There has not been a single piece of information to confirm that the authenticity of hunters laptop.

It’s the press’ job to ask the president questions not the fawn all over him. The Biden administration answers the questions that the press asks. They don’t attack the members of the press corps for asking the questions, and then refused to answer any of them as Trump does.

Trump doesn’t want anyone telling the American people the truth because if they do he’s going to jail. If the CIA, the FBI, the department of justice, and the press, tell the truth about the crimes of Donald Trump. There isn’t a jury in the nation that will let him go free.

Good, properly sourced investigative journalism is expensive. Increasingly, news sources are being squeezed of funds, by free stuff on the Internet.

It’s a whole lot cheaper to just make shit up than it is to go out and slog around for weeks on end, interviewing witnesses and verifying information only to come up with a single story.

That’s why I always read the investigations report, rather than the cherry picked items that either side wishes to focus on.
