Someone must have doubled McCain's dose of Geritol.

For christssakes, if he's shown half of much passion for being President as he's shown for blocking any Health Care Reform, he would likely have won the 2008 election.

My guess is that he and his handlers' strategy was to appear "Presidential"= Don't lose your cool, and be "above the frey." Palin got into trouble with the McCain staffers when she showed the slightest hint of passion for anything.

And above all no more hugging of Bush!

In some ways McCain did win. I didn't and still don't see any real differences between Obama and McCain. Obama hasn't done anything that McCain wouldn't have done himself. Those two agree on much more than they disagree on. Just my opinion anyway.
