Texas supreme court just made the dumbest move possible politically.

It is murder.
Of course it is.

State sanctioned murder, even.

We usually use that against the bad guys, but in this case it's more along the lines of a mercy killing.

Whatever the case, the state has no business making medical decisions. Period. The state knows nothing about medicine. How'd you like their Covid pitch? Juicy, wasn't it?

They ruled against Kate Cox even though she had already left the state for her treatment.

This ruling comes off a spiteful and mean, but as we know with republicans the cruelty is often the point.

Anyway, they had the opportunity to show sympathy, to be reasonable, to act like human beings, and they threw it away.

This is a gift for Democrats, but a sad day for the country.

It won't matter in Texas. The more spiteful and mean, the better they like it.

This is one of the reasons why I think the Democrats should not send another piece of campaign literature out in swing states like Ohio without the word "Ohiobama" on it. In Texas, the more needlessly cruel politicians and judges are, the more popular they are. There was a guy named Ted Poe back home in Houston; he'd sentence people to walk around with a sign saying they bounced checks.

In other more evolved states (that would be roughly 49 of them) reminding the state that they are becoming more and more like Dixie just may encourage the voters to pump the brakes on that reverse evolution.

Yes yes, we already know you're the world's biggest INCEL.

Go do your thing waaaay over there, nobody here needs to see it.
