A middle-school student who says she was offended by remarks her teacher made after she wore a Mexico soccer shirt to class is planning to file a lawsuit against her school district, a Latino rights group announced Thursday

Aviles said the comments began after she showed up for school during the World Cup games last year wearing a Mexico soccer jersey. She said her performing arts teacher asked whether she was Mexican.

When she answered yes, Aviles said, the teacher responded that “because of people like you, I pay high taxes, and because of people like you, my insurance is sky high,” according to official statements.

As a woman I've heard folks say some very offensive things about/to women. As a woman in the Army, I can't even begin to tell you some of the asinine things I heard come from people's mouths. Leprosy (a.k.a. Hansen's Disease) is caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium leprae and Mycobacterium lepromatosis, and as such can be treated by antibiotics.

7,000 cases out of 310 million people is less than 0.002%. Who gives a fuck?

We went from practically zero leprosy cases to more than 7,000 cases because the illegal aliens are bringing it into our country.
If the leper touches something and someone else touches that same object, they could get leprosy. Also, if the leper coughs, any person in the path of that cough, could contract it.

Deport all illegal aliens!

How odd...Zero cases you say? I wonder why my college town in upstate NY had an active hospital for leprosy cases then....seems silly with Zero cases...don't you think?
