Teacher Insults Mexican Student, Mexican Sues School

My talking points:

1) This happened in California, aka the "Sue Me State".
2) The California Teachers Union is powerful.
3) The school district probably has a dress code.
4) The Teachers Union will back up the teacher and nothing will happen to her.
5) LA schools are multi-cultural, full of racism, and it doesn't start with the teachers. Racism begins at home.
6) This is not a civil rights violation if the student broke dress code rules. There is a need and reason for dress codes in this part of the state
7) One of the oaths in becoming a US citizen is to assimilate to this country, not force ones prior country of residence on the US.

Doesn't that show how much respect Hispanics have for the country they live in?

No. They see upper-class Americans beating themselves up to sit next to someone with a British accent and holding their noses when an immigrant waits on them.

If we could see the world from other people's moccasins, we might hesitate before judging them.

Hispanics like British Americans like Vietnamese Americans all have tremendous respect for America.

Stupid thinking to say that few cranks in the group condemn the whole group.
