One wonders if these suicide and car bombings will ever stop. Too many innocent people have been killed and wounded by them, not only in Iraq, but throughout the Muslim world.

BAGHDAD: A suicide bombing at the entrance to an army base north of Baghdad killed at least seven soldiers and wounded 22 others on Tuesday, security and medical officials said.

The 8:30 pm (1730 GMT) blast hit the base in the town of Tarmiyah, according to a police colonel and a medical official, both of whom spoke on condition of anonymity.

Iraq was an advanced, highly sophisticated nation. There was no justifiable reason for what we've done there. We have effectively destroyed their army but not the will of many former soldiers and ordinary citizens who will continue to strike at us via the only means available to them -- which is terrorist attacks.

Iraq was an advanced, highly sophisticated nation. There was no justifiable reason for what we've done there. We have effectively destroyed their army but not the will of many former soldiers and ordinary citizens who will continue to strike at us via the only means available to them -- which is terrorist attacks.

Put yourself in the position of the average Iraqi. How would you feel toward an occupying army?

Yes, I read how the average Iraqi was feeling. They reported that they finally could put on plays and write things they wanted to write. In fact, if you had read the business section around that time, you would have learned that they were buying big ticket items and also having plastic surgery. The big problem is that the insurgents started swarming in from other Muslim countries because they didn't want to see demoracy taking place in Iraq. In addition, we know that these suicide and car bombings are not done exclusively in iraq. We read about them happening in other Muslim countries as well.

Anyway, in the vidoes, Iraqis are asked if they like Iraq now, or before with Saddam?

there ere some mixed feelings, some were happy with Saddam because there was stability, but most were happier because they now have freedom.

I had never agreed with the decision of the rabid Bush’ites to Invade Iraq. However, the current internecine slaughter that pits the sunni vs. the shia is not a function of the U.S. invasion.

The hatreds separating these two subdivisions of islam date back to early islamist times and tales and the transfer of authority after the death of islam’s inventor. These idiots have spent 1,400 years re-igniting a smoldering blood-feud that eventually erupts into a full-blown killfest.

The victims of Islamic terrorism are much more often than not, moslems.
