Student Suspended for Removing Mexican Flag

Bring an aspirin to school here and you get 1 week suspension.
And it does not get national attention.

Yeah, what's up with that? It was a rule in my school that we could not self-administer ANYTHING. Be that acetaminophen, Midol, whatever, it was a suspendible offense. What, now a girl doesn't know if her cramps are bad enough to deserve medication? Thanks Libs, we suffer in solidarity with your ideals.
Hey asshole...this is not a liberal ideal. Negged.

ROFLMNAO...

Oh my... a Neg-rep because the member stated an incontrovertible fact, which simply doesn't reflect well on the Irrational-Feminine Ideology...

Zero-Tolerance rules of every stripe is PURELY, WHOLLY, SOLELY, UTTERY, THOROUGHLY, COMPLETELY LEFTIST...

These are rules which are founded in the same species of reasoning on which all 'central authority' rests...

These are the same sort of Progressive 'ZERO-Tolerance' rules which empower bullies and bullying... and which like ALL Leftist Policy are better known for their 'unintended consequences' than anything else; and

THEY ARE ALL YOURS SIS!

Ah, worldnetdaily, that bastion of media integrity.

ROFLMNAO!

That only works when applied with the second part of the statement.

To wit: "Ah, worldnetdaily, that bastion of media integrity. The article is factually incorrect. The facts are XXX XXXX XX XXXXXX XXX XXXX. The source YYY stated on 00/00/0000"

Notice how your argument just sorta hangs on the baseless assertion...

The American student had every right indeed DUTY to put the Mex rag in the trash, just like any other piece of garbage foung lying around.

So, you encourage theft and vandalism....as long as it's someone you don't approve of having their stuff stolen. Gotcha.

Theft and Vandalism?

Bode... Wicked stretch here. He saw a flag being presented above Old Glory, removed it from the wall and tossed it in the trash.

No theft, no vandalism... Perfectly appropriate behavior, for an American. In Contrast to the inappropriate behavior of those who sought to present the flag of another nation over the American flag.

Or those that like to riot and burn buildings. ;)

Have you seen the picture? There IS no American flag that it is being flown over.

BTW...we have some Mexican American neighbors down the street. They have a flag flying over their front porch...Should I go rip it down?

Hmmmmm, no obvious owner of trash lying in a public place........

Putting the trash in a proper recepticle is hardly theft.

Nope not on private property. They should however be STRONGLY encouraged to haul their anti_American Mex asses back to where their rag should properly fly.

Bumping this picture and question for those saying what the kid did was acceptable because the Mexican flag was flying over an American flag.

'In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.'

Theodore Roosevelt 1907

It was flying HIGHER than the American flag, that was the contention.

So says the 26th President of the United States. What does his lineage have to do with anything? Most all of us come from somewhere some of us like mine and Theodore's family have been here since the 17th century.

I have to go along with you on this. My great-great-grandfather came to the United States in the 1880's from Germany. He spoke broken English, but his son, my great-grandfather spoke fluid English without an accent, graduated from college and was successful in real estate. I have never seen a foreign flag in any family members home.

Assimilation to the American way of life is what it is all about. We are the Americans. We are a mixed group who appreciate, and work to improve our unique democracy. There ain't no free lunch.

In context you CLEARLY implied they had a MEXICAN flag. Regardless they are EITHER Mex or American, can't be both. IF they wannabe Mex they need to do it in Mexico.
