OK, this is a little different, so please hear me out...

I have favorite movies, that when they show up on tv, I will stop watching whatever it is I was watching, to watch that movie, no matter how many times I have watched it before.

There's only a couple of dozen that fall into that category... for me... Considering the millions of movies, my list is small.

Here's my rules: I do not count sequels, they count as 1. Only to make it fair to movies that can't have sequels.

What I found, is that the only actor or actress to have 4 entries in my personal favorite movies, is Kevin Costner! Who woulda thought that?!? Everyone else has 2 or less, even Robert De Niro (my personal fav actor)!

Here's my list of movies that I will drop everything to watch for the hundreth time. In no particular order (though Matrix is #1)...

The Matrix
Parenthood
Silverado
Forrest Gump
Die Hard
JFK
Up
Memento
The Princess Bride
Bull Durham
Goodfellas
Pulp Fiction
Borat
Dances With Wolves
A Fish Called Wanda
Raiders of the Lost Ark
The Shawshank Redemption
Star Wars

Harrison Ford has 2 entries on my list.

But you're a Costner hater? After 4+ great movies that he's made?
Actually I would please like to have explanation on that. I know there are Costner haters, and that's due to 2-3 terrible movies that he's done, and produced and directed. But... he's in a lot of great movies too... I never got the Costner-hate. Just watch Bull Durham. :)

Apocalypse Now
Blade Runner
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
West World (Brynner)
Planet of the Apes (Heston)
Apocalypto
Night Crawler (Gyllenhaal)
Ed Wood
No Country For Old Men
There Will Be Blood
Europa Europa
Kung Fu Hustle

You have a little different taste... But I hear you! I've seen almost all of them! Great movies!

Like Cruise, he's too full of himself.

Only thing I will watch him in is Silverado, where he's basically a snot nosed kid, but the rest of the cast overpowers his ego.

I have True Grit on my media server, and I really want to watch it. But I do it too late and fall asleep while watching. I know it's a good movie. Just keep watching it at the wrong times...

T2 is great also. I am not a 2001 fan... :)

So here's my new revised list. This is a list of movies that if I happen to find during a commercial break on any other show, I will immediately watch until the end, no matter how many times I've watched it...

The Matrix
Parenthood
Silverado
Forrest Gump
Die Hard
JFK
Up
Memento
The Princess Bride
Bull Durham
Goodfellas
Pulp Fiction
Borat
Dances With Wolves
A Fish Called Wanda
Raiders of the Lost Ark
The Shawshank Redemption
Star Wars
Fight Club
Being John Malkovich

Shawshank Redemption
Princess Bride
Space Balls
Cool Hand Luke
Goodfellas
The Great Santini
Casablanca
Wrath of Khan

ET goes on my list!!!! Hi five!

Remember it's movies that you will just drop whatever you're watching to see. No matter how many times you watched it.

It's not a list of fav movies. Well, in a way it is :). It's the best of the best, for your personal favs.

I liked the Clubber Lange storyline. Mr T was awesome. The original is also one I will stop and watch but I hate the Adriane storyline.
