Straight Answers Only: Why is the WH banning cameras from the Daily Press Briefing?

I can't WAIT for Trump to go the way of Nixon:

"""Like Mr. Trump, President Richard Nixon started a notorious war with the media. Nixon banned the Washington Post from the White House after the newspaper broke the Watergate scandal.

As heard in an audio recording, Nixon went as far as to threaten to fire his press secretary, Ron Ziegler, if he ever let a Post reporter into a briefing, according to the Smithsonian.

While Nixon didn't formally pull the Post's press credentials, Post reporters were not allowed at any White House social events."""

Trump not the only president to ban media outlets from the White House
From your article:

"In 2008, President Barack Obama booted three reporters from conservative newspapers off his campaign plane."

Why? Twice now they've just allowed only audio. So why is Trump starting to make the DPBs go dark and not be broadcast to the public?
Just answer the question.

White House still banning cameras from briefings so CNN sends a courtroom sketch artist (Details)

My answer is in the other thread on the topic, see it there.

.

I wouldn't click my mouse once much less twice to see what you have to say about anything.
Except you just did....

Do you wear a safety helmet at home?

He said his answer is on a different thread, idiot. Do you have anything to put under a safety helmet?
Just your endless tears

They are aired live while everyone is at work and the chopped up like a Philly sandwich for evening consumption when everyone gets home.
You asked for straight answers but failed at your own demand

You're not answering the question. I asked why Trump is turning off the cameras. I didn't ask for your opinion of how a clip is edited for the nightly networks.
I gave you the fucking answer dumbfuck. I gave you the only real answer.

#dealwithit

No, you didn't. "They are aired while everyone is at work" is bullshit. It's censorship and you fucking won't admit it.

Here, eat this idiot:

Trump’s Ban of Reporters at Press Briefing Isn’t Just Wrong, It’s Unconstitutional

Just banning reporters is in violation of the Constitution.
Nope, it's not.

Sean Spicer is making the press conferencs available to everyone by releasing the full transcripts right after the conference is over via the White House website so no obfuscation can be done by the mainstream press to mislead in their reporting. It's the smart approach.

Press Briefing by Press Secretary Sean Spicer, 6/23/2017, #56

Joseph Goebbels would have loved you.
As he should have. He knew how to handle a corrupt press full of Jewish reporters who mislead the German people. Same thing is happening again with this modern day corrupt judenpresse.

Trump has already told you people a hundred times that he's sick of these people tearing him apart unfairly in the press and then making money off of him! His DPB's are the highest rated things in the afternoons boosting the network's ratings and he has pulled the plug. He is fighting back against the MSM assault and is totally getting in their heads and manipulating THEM instead of the other way around. Voila!

Because we can no longer trust the mms to get it right. This discourages (at least) the television portion of that.

Another idiot. It's a live broadcast. Haven't you ever watched one? DIdn't think so.

Sorry to inform you of this, fucktard but some if us work for their income. In my case, seven days a week lately. Catching a "live" unedited broadcast is a luxury I and a lot of other hard working people seldom have.

Why? Twice now they've just allowed only audio. So why is Trump starting to make the DPBs go dark and not be broadcast to the public?
I'd guess they'll run with any idea that (a) insults/mocks/angers the press and (b) does anything that might decrease the national exposure of these things.

Given the way the DPBs have gone to date, I guess I'm not surprised they want to exert more control and minimize potential damage.

It's not like they're bound by law to handle these things in any specific way.
.

The media, like the democrats, have proven that they cannot be trusted to tell the truth.

I would imagine it is for the same reason Camera's are banned from the court room! So called Journalists were playing to the camera, rather than asking pithy questions for information. What better way to get on the evening news than to ask Gotcha questions and argue with Spicer over his answer.
Journalism is DEAD. Turning a press conference into a Jerry Springer verbal riot, doesn't let the public understand the workings of their government.

Experience has shown that most of the video shot in the briefings is edited to twist its true meaning.

The "videographers" are simply trolls.

So....you just don't feed the trolls.

You're full of shit. Those press briefings are broadcast live, just like CNN, MSNBC and FOX broadcast Trump's rallies...live.
And who was the last POTUS to turn the cameras off in the DPB?
Name one, idiot.
You ask for serious answers, get one, then yell bullshit and call the responder an idiot. You are not looking for honest answers but are looking for a fight. This explains why the cameras are off! :)

Because we can no longer trust the mms to get it right. This discourages (at least) the television portion of that.

Just the opposite is true.

RWs agree with trump = gut the constitution and he can't gag them, he just won't let them in. That way, there's no proof of what he's doing.

He's already done it with Tillerson. He's travel in the world on our money and doing trump, Exxon business.

You RWs - remember, YOU did this.

You are correct.

I know I am. The question will be... Does the media get this and change their coverage or do they simply push forward towards the eventual full separation of the administration and the media?

There is no choice, a free press in the United States has to by definition NEVER agree to what the government wants them to agree to. Their very existence is opposition, at all times on all things. That any government official would limit the free press says nothing about the press, it merely illuminates the government's desire to silence that freedom for it's own benefit at the expense of the people.

"We are the government and we are silencing the free press because you only need to hear what WE say. Trust us".

Not now, not ever.
