Talking about the majority of them, not the ones that have already left the Democratic Party. What I think they really want is a very large gov't bureaucracy that administers a large social safety net, that the rich guys and big corps pay for. Throw in the freebies like universal healthcare, universal basic income, free education, free housing, free food, free energy, reparations, equal equity, etc. Not to mention spending trillions on climate change programs as if we're all gonna die in the next 10 years if we don't spend all that money. And apparently they think they can pay for all that by raising taxes on the wealthy and the big corps. Do you hear any democrats running for office on a platform to require everyone to pay a 25% consumption or VAT tax? Yeah, me neither.

Nothing gets past you! I'm a follower now - you are sharp!

Question: "So, what do democrats want?"!

Answer: Democracy!: All citizens able to vote, and to vote in person, by the mail or by their ballot sealed with a relative or friend.

That anyone who commits election fraud loses their citizenship and their right to vote, hold elective office or any civil service job - federal, state or local office of trust.

Democrats think life should be easy

Tell them that life is hard does not register

For them, life being hard means it is unjust and demands government intervention

In other words, pass regulations and throw money at it until time in the universe stops, or the government goes belly up.

Another one who thinks he/she/it knows what "democracy" is. :laughing0301:

Yea…We are better off spending a trillion dollars a year on our military

If you've got a rebuttal, trot it out. Otherwise, you're just wasting everybody's time, including your own.
If any of you had the emotional maturity to understand democrats and what they want you would not be slavishly following the most callous jerks you can find.

You said: Democrats want ALL citizens to vote, right?

Republicans want all ELIGIBLE citizens to vote, there's a big difference there don't you think? Are you aware that 46 of the 47 European countries require a photo-id?

AND:

Seventy-four percent of European countries entirely ban absentee voting for citizens who reside domestically. Another 6% limit it to those hospitalized or in the military, and they require third-party verification and a photo voter ID. Another 15% require a photo ID for absentee voting. Similarly, government-issued photo IDs are required to vote by 33 nations in the 37-member Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (which has considerable European overlap)...Despite the record of Europe and the vast majority of the rest of the developed world, congressional Democrats are pushing to remove identification requirements for voting. The House recently passed the For the People Act of 2021, which replaces state voter ID rules with a signed statement from the voter, and makes permanent the pandemic’s mail-in ballot voting. The mailing out of blank absentee ballots en masse would become a fixture of American elections...Meanwhile, efforts in Republican states to require voter IDs for in-person voting and absentee ballots have triggered boycotts from Major League Baseball and other corporations. Georgia’s new absentee provisions raised a ruckus despite being much less restrictive than much of the rest of the world. Anyone who wants an absentee ballot can obtain one. A reason need not be given, such as being out of town, but one must have an ID to get an absentee ballot.

So, what's your answer to that?

After you've done that, now tell me your response to the OP discussion.

What Democratic people want is for republic ones to use better grammar.

We all know what Democrats want. They got everything what they wanted in 2020, and this is what happened:

Gasoline that rose to twice the price it was during 2018, an inflation rate that rose as high as 9.1%, which was almost 5 times higher than it was in 2019, a recession, the average middle-class family coming up about $6,000 short of disposable income, hefty taxes coming for the lower and middle class, and retirement accounts losing $3 trillion dollars just over the last year. The price of oil jumping up to $130 per barrel, having to beg Saudi Arabia and Venezuela for oil while draining our own strategic reserves, sporadic shortages on the store shelves, supply line disruptions, a monumental trade imbalance with China, an exponentially- spiraling epidemic of violent crime and drugs, hundreds of migrants dying while crossing the border, more than enough fentanyl to kill everyone in the country, 4 million more illegals within only two two years, more COVID deaths than in 2020, a dishonorable withdrawal from Afghanistan that cost 13 American soldiers their lives, leaving billions of dollars worth of military equipment to the Taliban, a weakened, emasculated military, the IRS arming and training to be home invaders, using the DOJ and the FBI to harass political opponents by conducting covert raids on American citizens and confiscating personal property, Iran's nuclear program having enough nuclear material to build a bomb and conducting attacks on US citizens, a revitalized Russian oil industry, China becoming energy and militarily dominant, a war in Ukraine that has cost us billions of dollars and has killed thousands of people, and a president who is trying to incite a civil war against half the country.

You support the suppression of votes. That's simple and clear. The Republicans are corrupt, they cannot win an election because they put greed, money and profits before the people. You and they scum and suppress the votes are yell and scream BIG LIES.

I usually see calls for increased social spending coupled with calls for decreased military spending.

Gosh, the pandemic was good for the price of gasoline. Can we do another one?

I did a spot check for you today and the price of a barrel of oil is $85.45.

You don't just "give" someone an ID. They have to provide some proof of who they are first. You can't even get a driver's license without a birth certificate and a Social Security number
