Your timeline is arbitrary. But if you're going to call computers, phones, GPS, and the like "white culture," then you should give credit to the Muslims who provided the base of all those inventions.
Sorry, it's a combination of Hindu and Arabic numeration that paved the way to our modern place value system (since they invented a symbol for 0). Without zero, no binary code.

Arabic numerals
It all it took were Arabic numerals, why didn't Arabs invent the computer, the automobile, the telephone, space flight?
Math is am important tool. But innovation doesn't come from the tools, it comes from the minds of the inventors and from cultures that support Freedom of Expression and Thought.
There was a thread awhile back and someone claimed muslims "invented" algebra, the claim is suspect, the Greeks and Ancient India have a legit claim also
The real question is: who invented fire? Cuz that person should get credit for all human achievement after that point.
