I’d be shaking too much to aim properly. I know that about myself. Adrenalin does that to me. So no, I would not want to be armed.

Very few people have the presence of mind or the ability to shoot back. Often in mass shooting situations, there are good guys with guns, who never get off a round because of the chaos and confusion.

I am on a rotation at my church to have a concealed weapon. In a congregation of about 400 people this morning at the early service there were six of us at different places all armed. We instigated this program after the church shooting in Texas.

Had some nutcase or Muslim or Moon Bat came in and tried to shoot up the church then he would have met resistance.

We have four teams that rotate. All of us know how to use the weapons we carry. We will not be victims. We take responsibility for our own security.

No reason schools can't do the same.

In all of these school shootings...The Bad Guys always win...Because they
are the only people with guns.

The School Resource officer (Deputy) already had enough time in for
retirement, so he wasn't going in that building. Two other Deputies
have currently been reassigned and are under investigation for not
entering that building.

The Libs are backing away from pointing fingers at th folks that could
have ended this early and are saying nothing about the FBI, that could
have prevented it from even happening.

It's either arming the teachers or arming the students, because the fucking
Police aren't going to do anything. (At least, not the first responders)

And all this nonsense about..."what could the FBI had done?" They
could have done what Sheriff Deputies did twice yesterday in Florida.
Sheriff in Boynton Beach, FL got a tip on a kid that posted he was going
to shoot up a school in South Florida. They arrested him.

In Clay County, FL...(Just west of Jacksonville) the same scenario
took place with the same results. Deputies arrested him.

No new laws have been passed, so it's safe to say, this kid could have
been arrested in January and maybe turned over to a shrink and had
his weapons taken from him, pending the shrink's final report.

But, this is nothing new. Back in the day when there were no PC's, just
investigating tips/leads/suspicious characters...we should never forget
that the FBI had brought in Lee Harvey Oswald for questioning...interrogated
him for most of a day and turned him loose. 3 or 4 weeks later he killed the
President of the United States.

This isn't a fuck-up with the FBI...This is part of their Tradition.

We all know the story of how Stoneman Douglas High School assistant football coach Aaron Feis bravely used his body as a shield to protect his students from Nikolas Cruz's bullets. Coach Feis died from his wounds. So here is a very simple question: What if Coach Feis had been armed?

Here is another very simple question: If you were a teacher and you knew or feared that your school was about to be attacked by a school shooter, would you want to at least have the option of carrying a gun at school?

And here is a final very simple question: If you were a would-be school shooter, which schools would you consider as targets--schools that you knew had armed teachers or schools that you knew had no armed teachers?

Hard to say what would have happened. Maybe armed teachers would have meant Cruznever went there to begin with.

I can pretty much guarantee though at the point this coach was using his body to shield those kids he sure wished to hell he had a gun. Any gun.
