Should President Trump be allowed a 3rd term?

Judge not lest you be judged.

Irregardless....Donald Trump met with hundreds of evangelical leaders in New York ...... Shortly after the meeting, James Dobson, the founder of the group Focus on the Family, claimed Trump “[accepted] a relationship with Christ,” adding, “I know the person who led him to Christ.” His statement was first brought to public attention by the historian John Fea,

Do not do as I do...do as I say. hehheh

Look.......we are all sinners. Christians however who repent of their sins are saved.

In the first book to explore the religious values and background of the 45th president of the United States, The Faith of Donald Trump discusses how Trump's religious beliefs mold his personal life as well as inform his vision and politics. His victory, a political miracle greater than any other in recent history, Donald J. Trump’s presidency aims to be populous, yet biblically based. He has often said that “I am a tremendous believer" and "Christianity helped drive the destiny of my victory."

Sure. Whatever makes you feel good. Not for a second buying that Trump is a religious man though.

I think you should be more concerned about your own soul rather than whether or not Trump is a Christian.

Oh, and why is that?

I'm not "concerned" about it at all. I don't think he is. Period. You do know he was pro choice, right? He also donated heavily to the democrats at one time. He cheats on his wives and is far from being a true Christian, IMO.

He is a mean man who is good at trolling the far leftists (which the dem party has become, IMO), and he has some good ideas, but a religious man? Good grief. Lol!

Trump has repented of the sins of his youth. He has embraced Christianity....and that is something everyone should do. Christians are not perfect just forgiven.

Let him who is without sin cast the first stone

John 8:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

What has he done that is mean in your eyes.

and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.'

Well....in extra-ordinary times we need extraordinary leaders like Trump or FDR during WW2 who was allowed 4 terms

The ill-considered impeachment efforts against President Donald Trump have seriously interfered with his first term as president. Thus, argues constitutional scholar William Mattox in The Wall Street Journal, if acquitted, Trump should be eligible for a third term, notwithstanding the two-term limit in the 22nd Amendment.

Mattox deploys a sports analogy: “In the National Football League, teams can challenge a call on the field — but there’s a risk. If instant replay doesn’t merit overturning the call, the challenging team loses one of its three timeouts. That discourages frivolous challenges and keeps the game flowing, while also providing a way to reverse egregious errors.”

Hence, a third term for the president: “That would allow him to make up for the time lost advancing the agenda that voters elected him to enact. It would preserve impeachment for genuine offenses but discourage its use for disputed ones and for mere politics. Absent such an amendment, and in an era when government is divided more often than not, impeachment seems likely to become an increasingly common means of opposition.”

Presidents are limited to two terms. Everyone knows this.
BTW: why do you quote Jerusalem? It certainly is not fitting under the picture of a world-famous whoremonger and warmonger.

What?? His whole demeanor is mean, making fun of people, calling them names, etc. Fortunately, I don't care if he is mean. I voted for him BECAUSE he is mean.

It is kinda like harry truman.....he said people say I give them hell. I do not give anyone hell. I just tell the truth and they think it is hell....sumptin like dat.

During the speech, a supporter yelled out, "Give 'em Hell, Harry!" Truman replied, "I don't give them Hell. I just tell the truth about them, and they think it's Hell." Subsequently, "Give 'em Hell, Harry!" became a lifetime slogan for Truman supporters

There is no conflict of interest here for me when it comes to Trump, since I am mostly agnostic. I have many doubts and many questions. Would I like to believe in a God watching over me and a Heaven I can go to after I die? Sure, who wouldn't. Doesn't make it true though. If you believe in all of that, good for you.

“You can be against God or you can be for God, but you cannot be without him.”

'God chooses whom He will save and allow into Heaven and whom He will not save and send to Hell. This decision is based solely on God’s own sovereign will and purpose and is not influenced by any other person or by anything anyone does. That is to say that this choice is made apart from any action or belief on the part of the sinner. In other words, man has absolutely no role in his own salvation. If God wants a person to be saved, He will ultimately, through His sovereign control over all circumstances and His ability to open the heart and mind of the sinner, compel a person to believe. These people are then referred to as ‘the elect.’ The bottom line of the ‘doctrine of election’ is that God picks and chooses who goes to Heaven and who goes to Hell for reasons we do not know'.

Romans 10:14

New International Version
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?

I don't believe in god so no, I don't believe that.

I do know the requirements for amending the constitution. Apparently you don't. And if you do and you still believe it could be easily changed you're one stupid motherfucker

Repent before it is too late.

Proverbs 24:20 - For there shall be no reward to the evil [man]; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.

When is that? My life is half over. What's he/she waiting for? When will all the smiting occur? I've got time. That's the great thing about your "faith". I can say "fuck god" to my deathbed and "repent" at the last minute and all is "forgiven".

Well I see some good candidates on this thread for my ignore function....I have been putting every liberal/democrat/communist/socialist/progressive i have noticed on ignore for a couple of days now. President could get a 3rd term only if the congress and senate vote to repeal the amendment restricting presidents to only 2 terms. Maybe after the Dems lose the house and more senate seats go republican, it just might happen....

There is another way but I only talk about it with friends.
