You haven't demonstrated how universal belief equals truth.

We can close our eyes and universally believe in god as hard or as long as we want to. It has no bearing on if he/she/it exists or not. None. zilch. nadda.

Only that it CAN equal truth, such as in successful sports betting.

No, obviously it CAN equal Truth, but universality or winning the competition of ideas is one of the BEST indicators of truth we have.

The best indicator of truth that we have is repeatable experimentation.

But most Truths are not repeatable, so you go with what you got.

God exists as certainly as there must be a beginning to the flow of time.

Yes. Honestly. That's how honesty works. Belief is not empirical evidence.

But it doesn't HAVE to be empirical evidence to be believable or to make a decision.

Lets use building a house roof truss for example. If you had two friends, one recommended using truss design A and the other recommended design B, and 98% of everyone on the planet claims to know that method B is the best way of doing it, methinks you would be foolish to go with method A. Most people who are involved in the process have enough collective sense and experience to give you the best recommendation, especially if it is so lopsided as a 98:2 ratio.

No, it is not empirical evidence but the vast majority of the decisions we make in our lives are not made based on empirical evidence.

The same is true with the question of the existence of God. I know for a fact that God is real and acts in our lives. Most of the people who say otherwise are either miserably ignorant on the topic or they have some vested interest/fear/pridefulness.

The number of sincere atheists that have thoroughly investigated the subject that I have met I can count on one hand with three fingers remaining.
