Sarah Palin's War On Coins

The African comment had been refuted, and there is no proof that she said it, Dogbert.
She is not my messiah, and I wouldn't vote for her, unless I had to.
I thought I did hear that some banks were forced to take the money...am I wrong? Having said that, the governments place is not in the private sector...period. They shouldn't have intervened, the companies that were hurting are still hurting for the most part, because they didn't learn anything. When a company has to belly up in court, they come out of BK usually stronger than when they went into it. If they fail, another company comes in and replaces it, and are usually stronger. But the government should not be involved in the manner that it is.

Except for the ones that, you know, don't come out at all.

And no, no banks were forced to take $$$. They made a choice to do so.

And with that final piece of "logic" of yours, within twenty years, the auto and banking industry would be entirely owned by foreign companies.

I remember Paulson forcing them to do so. independently of the savage nation.

so which is worse? saying there are 57 states in the US? (100 percent sure happened) or thinking Africa is a continent? (50 percent sure happened)

Making a slipup or actually believing something? I'd go with actually believing something.

No. but I think he's hilarious.

The same guy who said:

"Female students who come from a Marin County private school to feed and provide services to the homeless "can go in and get raped by them because they seem to like the excitement of it.."

And:

"They say, "Oh, there's a billion of them." I said, "So, kill 100 million of them, then there'll be 900 million of them." I mean, would you rather die — would you rather us die than them?"

 :eusa_eh:

so obama believes we deserved 9/11, the govt started aids to kill the blacks, and america should be damned because california has a 3 strike law. all worse than believing Africa is a country?

not sure what the second quote is in reference to.

I would like to hear the segment of the first one to know who he is talking about and why he said it.
the guy is funny because the things he says are so outrageous.

Now that is going too far. I don't think Obama believes that. That's like saying anyone who goes to Church believes Homosexuals are deviant creatures or something like that.

I wouldn't go to a church for 20 years where that was preached. (deviant creatures) but obama continued to attend that fuckstain's church.

Muslims and I don't think he's funny.

I would do a much better job than your Messiah. Sarah Palin is to Conservatism as Dr. Pepper is to Medicine. The Africa comment has not been refuted and considering her behavior it's not out of possibility.

As for the Government having voting rights to GM and other lending institutions, nobody forced these companies to do so or take these loans. Or did I miss that memo?

according to Savidge, they were forced to take the money by Hank Paulson.

U.S. Treasury Said to Invest in Nine Major U.S. Banks (Update2) - Bloomberg.com

None of banks getting government money was given a choice about it, said one of the people familiar with the plans. All of the banks involved will have to submit to compensation restrictions, said the person.

The government will also guarantee the banks' newly issued senior unsecured debt, making it easier for them to refinance their liabilities, the person said.

Hank Paulson to defend his threat to fire Bank of America's Ken Lewis -- DailyFinance

And finally, Paulson forced Bank of America (BAC) to acquire the down-on-its-luck Goldman competitor Merrill Lynch. As it turns out, there seems to be some controversy over whether Paulson threatened to fire B of A CEO Ken Lewis if he pulled out of the Merrill deal.

This is what I'm talking about. :eusa_whistle:

So if this did occur, it occurred under Bush. Yet you're blaming Obama. :eusa_eh:

Despite some people's attempt to ridicule this woman she is trying to make a point that there seems to be a deliberate attempt to remove God from the public and even private square and this is just another pattern in a disturbing trend.

I myself do not have a problem with removing God from money if it was a genuine attempt to preserve the separation of church and state but the underlying motives of the left is to create a socialist state where the government is a spiritual deity of the people that has the power to bring change to their lives.
