Roseanne: ABC Regrets ‘Knee-Jerk’ Firing Of Controversial Star & Fears Show Will Tank Without Her

What ever happened to teachable moments in life ??? Does God condemn the sinner to hell if sinned or broke a covenant one time ??? Now there is one, but none of us hopefully are going anywhere near it.

Let he who is without sin cast that stone, and of course that was a teachable moment because God knew their hearts that day, and in that moment none were worthy to judge the woman that day, and therefore dropped their stones and walked away.

Isn't it funny how black comedians get up and very funny attack whites with whites just laughing and laughing along with them in the audience, and how it actually shows how dumb racism is to all (including the comedian), when making light of it all in that way ?? People wanting power and serious change have abandoned the laughter that Hollyweird once used in order to calm the situations, and for any celebrity to involve themselves in politics at this time is purely a career suicide move.

Get out of politics now Hollyweird, and take your celebrities with you.

Get out NOW while you can.

Go back to entertaining like it used to be. Not like those idiots at SNL. Look what politics has done to them. Get a clue.

Quit being used for political gains all you celebs. Just quit being used by your MASTERS.

This just goes to show that Political Correctness is the sure sign of a dumbass. I doubt any Republicans will tune in to watch "The Conners."

‘The Conners’ minus fired Roseanne Barr is one risky prospect. We’ve got details on how ABC execs are afraid the show will fail without its longtime lead character.

Thanks to what Roseanne Barr calls a “misunderstood tweet” in May, she quickly was fired by ABC and the wildly successful revival of her 1990s sitcom was cancelled. The network thought her tweet about Barack Obama aide Valerie Jarrettwas racist and within hours Roseanne was out of a job. Now the show is going on without her and the rest of the cast is coming back for The Conners. ABC execs are fearful it will be a flop without the program’s star and formerly title character. Sources tell DailyMailTV that it would have been far more prudent to give her a suspension rather than immediately terminate her. As a result, “The whisper across ABC is that they will not even be a quarter of what Roseanne achieved last season,” an insider tells DMTV.
Anyone with a brain knows this show will tank. Not sure why they decided to waste everyone's time and money in the first place.

I'm pretty sure Goodman isn't going to be able to carry it.
No one on that show has 1/10th the charisma of Roseanne.
As was before in the format or script, they were working off of her primary role by just adding to it with their own talents, but she was the show on that show.

She should have been allowed to give an apology under threat of sanctions yes, but it had to be sincerely done by her, and then the network could have taken the opportunity to write in a show where the Conners (Rosanne mainly), could have really made up for the debacle she created.

They could have added an African or an African American child in which the Conners would have adopted, and him and her would have been trying to figure each other out with hilarious consequences. Would have been a win, win for everybody involved.
Fuck all that. She didn't do anything to apologize for.

Many would disagree with you on that one, but she didn't do anything worth condemning her for in the way that she was condemned. Not when you have others doing way worse than her, and never so much as being lightly sanctioned for it.

The hypocrisy is unbelievable really.

Because they had to prove to everyone that Roseanne didn't matter, even though everyone knows she does.

She simply made an incorrect assumption. That's not a crime. Leftwingers are always looking for something to be offended about.

I think the socialist lefty Hollyweird lunatics should be encouraged to speak their tiny minds. What’s to fear from the likes of Sean Penn praising Hugo Chavez as a noble leader dedicated to leading Venezuela’s way to a land of utopia for all his people? Especially his daughter’s now bulging offshore bank accounts while the rest of the country is eating its zoo animals and wiping their backsides with worthless 100 Bolivar bills. Anyway, we’re dealing with some of the more colossal airheads on the planet with these ‘weirdos, so let ‘em exercise their 1st Amendment rights and enjoy the stupidity and laughs.

Ii was a knee-jerk move that shows how hypocritical they are. It's OK for DeNiro to call Trump vile names and no one peeps a word of dissent. At least Kathy Griffen got fired - but that was by a news network.

If you look at RoseAnne's life you see she is not a racist at all - just the opposite. Hollywood just sucks - and I used to want to work with in that industry.
