Last time I checked wind blows here, and the sun is shining.... Not to mention the ridiculous amounts of natural gas and bio-fuels we possess.

Not really much of a consideration in costs in this case.

Materials were more of a problem in costs.

Non-union US solar manufacturing shops have also been suffering.

Really it seems most companies that have money problem are unionized.

Romney has shown his successful investment ideas over and over, with almost an 80% success rate. Obama's is not so good, but he doesn't give a crap, it wasn't his money. He lost nothing but his credibility.

Yeah... If it was Romney, he would have broken it up and sold the parts to China, handing them complete control of the market in return for a short-term capital gain.

I must say it probably was quite a feat to keep this quiet until it was done. Solyndra and Obamites would have stripped the place of any remnants of what the wasted taxpayer money was spent on.

Maddow isn't my cup of tea either, but IMHO, spending some taxpayer money was not the worst thing in the world when trying to combat a blatant attempt to control world trade, at least in this field, by the Chinese.
