Republicans are doing their jobs, are democrats?

Democrats rely on people catching 20 second soundbytes in the left-wing media, so they go on TV and make up lies every day..."Republicans want to shutdown the Govt, Republicans want to take away your SS/Medicare, Republicans want to let rich people keep all their money, etc, etc, etc."

Meanwhile Democrats just sit there with their thumbs up their asses with no plan, just waiting for the mess to happen and their media to blame Republicans just like in the 90s. They don't give a fuck if the military gets paid or not, the economy goes to shit, etc....they just want to win the next fucking election.

Yeah, thats just what they all do......

Let's see....how many budgets have Democrats passed since being in charge of Congress going back to Bush II???

Democrats like continuation funding so they can sneak in pet projects that won't see the light of day until exposed on FOX News. Millions for studying shrimp running on a treadmill, etc.

Obama is just sitting in the White House waiting for the fallout of doing nothing then letting his medai blame Republicans. Most Americans are dumb and believe anything they see on the "news." If the news said Republicans were killing black people in secret camps...Democrat voters would believe it, especially the black ones.

JScott your motto is "I check facts"

Check them then. Who submitted a budget when they "first" got elected? Who submitted another budget for current fiscal year? Who submitted a bill with a plan to deal with our current fiscal crisis? Who spent more money than all previous presidents combined? What bills have democrats submitted or voted on to deal with our current crisis?

Washington isn't supposed to "do for us". They're supposed to protect us and guarantee our rights to pursue our dreams. Those with an entitlement mentality like yours will never be satisfied.

That could be said for both parties and Obama.

Neither party has our interests in mind. They're too busy with their social engineering experiments and warring it up.

Regarding war, we need a Constitutional Amendment that demands that whomever authorizes the war must fight in it on the front line. If that's Congress then the Congressmen and Senators go to war and if it's the President alone, then he goes.

I think it would be sufficient if we were to force those who didn't fight the war to pay increased taxes to fund it.

The GOP is doing a better job at presenting options regarding cuts. Unfortunately, the sacrifice isn't spread around.

Are we talking about spreading the sacrifice to those who are already paying most of the taxes?

What sacrifices are those who are recieving the goodies making? Are they losing something or simply not getting more at the same rate of increase?

Get serious. We have a serious problem and you're talking gibberish.

Oh yeah, got to spread it around to those who get the most advantages out of government with the least amount of risk. Currently the rich receiving the goodies are making no sacrifices or losing anything. Contrary, their wealth is skyrocketing as we speak from being a member of the greatest society on earth with all the resources and benefits. Yeah, abba dabba dooo dude!:eusa_angel:

Bush? Now how come you understand DC isn't do for us, yet you want to blame O for no jobs? Are you always so confused in telling your stories??

If you knew your facts as well as the partisan talking points, you'd be miles ahead.

Yes, the wealthy are paying most the taxes, I guess that comes with the territory of making the most money. That group's wealth has increased during the recession and aftermath, while the rest have lost wealth, had flat wages and lost jobs. The job creators have created jobs alright,,,overseas.

Workers’ share of national income plummets to record low

Yet, those who are losing are suppose to sacrifice and those who are winning and are taking their money overseas, aren't suppose to sacrifice?

There's something very morally bankrupt with that thinking. And it's a fact that it's Main Street America that is actually the job creators because they are the consumer class which drives the economy and creates the demand side of supply and demand. Why are the right's "job creators" investing offshore? Because the offshore middle class has not been decimated by flat wages, lost wealth and loss of jobs and has the ability to create demand.

You are obviously the confused one. I've never demanded Obama give us jobs. Our jobless recovery is a result of him being too involved. Trying to force programs and regulations that hinder job growth. I'm not confused in the least. And nice try on the fuzzy math. Obama spent us into oblivion. Bush did spend foolishly, but not even close to the spender n chief.

Jobs move overseas because of 2 things... Regulation and Taxes

Wages and taxes are lower when you outsource. Constantly raising the minimum wage although seemingly fair kills jobs. Forcing higher wages here when you can't enforce it elsewhere is a prescription for job loss. Once the loopholes are closed and the taxbase is broadend more jobs will leave. Low skill jobs are just that low skill. And as such deserve an appropriate wage. I used to work for the COE and had to pay a "prevailing" wage. No more will I because I refuse to pay some schmuck 14 an hour to push a broom and "look" busy. Regulations are killing our jobs.

I'm more interested in making the decision to wage war a serious one by the old men who who continually do so.

If the decision to wage war was in essence a personal decision to commit suicide, I think it might make our fearless leaders take pause before they took the vote.

After it has been earned legally, how much wealth should an American citizen be permitted to keep?

Democrats claim the gop is the party of "no". How can they make this claim when they havnt passed a budget in nearly 3 years. Republicans have passed 2 major pieces of fiscal legislation that have never seen the light of day in the democratically controlled senate. Seems to me the senate is not only the party of "no", they are the party of "no action"

The democratic senate has utterly failed to do the business of the American people. Harry Reed is a failed leader. It is his job to lead the senate and promote the views of his caucus through legislation. He constantly blames the house for his own failures. The bills that passed the house are supposed to be debated by his house. He has an opportunity to amend the bill in any fashion and then send it back to the house for a final vote. Then the bill would goto committee for final tweeks and resolution. Yet all he does is table the bills, no debate, no amendments, no nothing. AND THEN HE AND THE PRESIDENT BLAME HOUSE REPUBLICANS! WTF? If he doesn't like their bills its his duty to alter them to make them acceptable to his caucus. At the very least he should have offered a counter proposal in bill form. Yet we get nothing but the blame game....

Pathetic

Which bills are you talking about? One was the Ryan bill that cut Medicare. What was the other one? Cut more taxes for wealthy people? Slash education? Certainly nothing to do with jobs.

Let's all debate why seniors should get their benefits cut. Why oil subsidies are more important than school lunches.

Yes, Republicans are doing their job making sure the oil companies and the wealthy keep their tax breaks, and that Social Security and Medicare get cut.

Supporting the rich and attacking the middle class, the old, and the sick.

That's the Republican Party.

It's what they do.

The Big 0 and his administration are actively working against those who might help end the recession.

They are trying as best they can to stay out of the way. It's sad, really. Not much different from Nazi Germany. Just hoping that the government will not destroy you.

Since the Congress would not pass additionally strangling environmental laws, the Big 0 unleashed the EPA to enforce regulations created within the EPA and not passed by Congress.

Boeing tried to create 2000 jobs and the NLRB sued them.

The Big 0 created an additional 16,000 jobs in the IRS enforcement division.

The bail out of GM stripped the bond holders of any rights to recover their legally earned money.

The bail out of GM illegally maintained the Union rights through the bankruptcy.

The Failed Stimulus was intended to save Union jobs at the taxpayers expense.

The half of TARP that was left for the Big 0 to use was intended to end the problem of toxic assets, but saving the UAW took precedence. The Toxic Assets remain untouched and toxic.

It goes on and on.

The Big 0 wakes up every morning with one mission and that is to get even with "The Rich".

You class warfare mentality will not win this thing. It is not the poor vs the the rich. It is the economy slowing or speeding up. As long as you divide the team, the team cannot win. Our leaders are morons and you are following them.

"He who knows not and knows not he knows not is a fool. Shun him."

I'm sorry but I totally disagree with the OP and I am a far right leaning Conservative.. Republicans BLOW ASS and will be DAMNED lucky to hold on to their jobs come 2012.. There were multiple bills passed right after the gop took over. It's not my fault you were too busy relishing in the wild spending to notice. The gop passes temporary measures with cuts, then Ryans budget, then CCB and now are preparing a final cut and extension bill. What has your party done?

NOT A GOD DAMN THING. EXCEPT CRY AND PLACE BLAME. You wanna have a voice in the decision then get off your lazy crybaby asses and submit a proposal of your own. Damn cowards
